Cameroon

Cameroon had a great comeback in the second league of their final round playoff against Algeria to find their way into the 2022 FIFA World Cup. They would go on to win in extra time 2-1 in the second leg after losing the first leg 0-1. It is their first FIFA World Cup appearance in eight years where they finished in last place in Brazil in 2014. They have finished in the bottom two for the last two FIFA World Cups they have qualified for. They are coming off of a third place finish in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations and will have plenty of momentum coming into this edition of the World Cup.

Ghana defeated Nigeria in their final round qualifier and for the first time in a white they seem to not be the African favorites in this year’s World Cup as well. They are making their first appearance since 2014 as well and they will be looking to make it out of the group stage this time around. It is only their fourth FIFA World Cup ever and all four have come within the last 16 years, as they are getting better each and every cycle. They had a disappointing finish at last year’s African Cup Of Nations and will be looking to redeem themselves in Qatar.

Morocco

Morocco is expected to make some noise at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. They qualified for the 2022 World Cup with what could be considered a walkthrough. As they pounded the Democratic Republic Of The Congo with a total aggregate score of 5-2. This will be their second straight FIFA World Cup and unlike last year they should be expected to make it out of the group stage. This will be their sixth of all time and first time ever making consecutive World Cups as well. They will be coming off of a quarterfinals placement in the African Cup Of Nations.

Senegal

Senegal knocked out heavily favored Egypt and Mohamed Salah to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. They are also the defending champions in the African Cup Of Nations and come into this tournament with a ton of momentum. This is the third time they have qualified for the world’s biggest tournament and the first time they have ever done it in consecutive cycles. They were the second African team to ever reach the quarterfinals. However, that was in 2002, in 2022 they will be looking to make it out of the group stage after failing in Russia in 2018.

Tunisia
