2022-23 National Football League Preview: NFC North

Which National Football League team is going to win the NFC North this season?

Which National Football League team is going to win the NFC North this season?

There is more parity than ever before in the National Football League and this season is full of it. There are so many different teams who could take home the Lombardi trophy this season and most of them play in the AFC. The NFC does have its contenders but it is pretty thin for the first time in a long time. Regardless of what happens. It is sure to be a season full of incredible plays and incredible moments all culminating in one winner being crowned as Super Bowl champions in 2023.

Division winners are always a hot topic before the season starts and much like the super bowl winner, some of these division winners are hard to pick as well. Especially in such a loaded AFC where 13 out of the 16 teams could potentially end up as a division winning playoff team. That is certainly what I’m most looking forward to watching this season is how the teams in the AFC perform whereas the NFC is a little more cut and dry and you should know we expect to be the winners in that conference.

2022-23 NFL Season Predictions-NFC

NFC North

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are usually the clear favorites in the NFC North division as they are typically one of the best teams in the National Football League each and every season. However, this season they will be without their top wide-out Devonte Adams after he left Green Bay for Las Vegas. So Aaron Rodgers will have to find himself a new favorite target to throw the football to this season. However, I still think this Green Bay Packers team makes the National Football League playoffs this season, but as a Wild Card team in a very top heavy NFC Conference.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are my pick to finish in last place of the NFC North division during the 2022-23 National Football League season. They just don’t have the talent they need around star quarterback Justin Fields and it might be fair to say that they are running the guys career as they continue to trot him out there under center to get hit week after week multiple times. I think the Chicago Bears will end up being one of the worst teams in the National Football League this season. As I don’t expect them to win more than five or six games this year, if they can manage to win that many.

Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are a better team than people might think and last year they had a lot of heartbreaking losses. If some of those losses would’ve gone the other way they would have potentially been a playoff team and built up some momentum. This is certainly a football team with a bright future and it is only going to get brighter once first round pick Jameson Williams returns from his ACL injury. I think the Detroit Lions are gonna be one of the surprising teams of the 2022-23 National Football League season. As I have them finishing in third place of the NFC North and getting a wild card spot.

Minnesota Vikings

I believe that the Minnesota Vikings are the clear favorites to finish in second place of this division and potentially challenge the Green Bay Packers for first. As long as their core group of players like Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Kirk Cousins can remain healthy this team has the potential to be a playoff team and even grab some wins in the postseason. As I look for the Minnesota Vikings to be one of the better teams in the National Football League this season.
