This installment of the four best NCAA week three games of the 2022 football season is here.

Four Best NCAA Games Of Week Three

Week three is already here and there are some solid games on the schedule, including some major conference matchups and playoff eliminator games as well.

BYU @ Oregon

The BYU Cougars come into this game undefeated as they are coming off of a huge win over the Baylor Bears over the weekend. They have another chance to add another statement win in this game against the Oregon Ducks on Saturday evening as well. As BYU looks to become the second group of five team and first independent group of five team to make the college football playoff.

The Oregon Ducks are still looking to recover after their huge opening loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. This game will provide Oregon with an opportunity to get themselves back into the playoff conversation. That is why this is easily my top game out of my four best NCAA games of the third week of the season.

Penn State @ Auburn

The Penn State Nittany Lions and Auburn Tigers both come into this game undefeated. These two teams met last season and it was Penn State that came away with the victory at home however it’ll be a much tougher game for them at Jordan Hare stadium. This year the game could look a little different but it is very possible that it could end up being another Penn State victory as Auburn is expected to have a down year despite the fact that they have started this season undefeated. That is why this is easily my top game out of my four best NCAA games of the third week of the season.

Texas Tech @ North Carolina State

Both Texas Tech and North Carolina State come into the third week of the 2022 college football season with 2-0 records. As this big ACC vs Big 12 matchup could be a tone setter for the remainder of the season. Both of these teams should be ranked and this game should be a marquee top 25 matchup. However, Texas Tech is criminally underrated in my opinion. While North Carolina State will be looking to make a statement. That is why this is easily my top game out of my four best NCAA games of the third week of the season.

Miami @ Texas A&M

For the first time in a long time the Miami Hurricanes look like a legitimate national title threat at least as far as I’m concerned a couple weeks into the season. While the Texas A&M Aggies will be looking to avenge their loss last week to Appalachian State and get themselves back into the playoff conversation before the first playoff rankings are released.

This is going to be a shoot out in my opinion as both of these teams are very capable of grabbing a huge victory here in week three and further cementing their status as a college football playoff contender this season. That is why this is easily my top game out of my four best NCAA games of the third week of the season.
