Week Three 2022 College Football Best Bets

Take a look at our Week Three College Football Best Bets!

We take a look at our Week Three best bets. College football is in full swing and we have a ton of games to bet this week. Lets find out who our Week Three best bets are!

UConn @ #4 Michigan (UConn +47.5 -110)

We had UConn as one of our best bets in week 2 and it paid off for us. The Jim Mora Jr lead team has looked scrappy and a major improvement from just a year ago. Michigan looks fantastic so far, but they haven’t played anyone of note yet. Beating Colorado St 51-7 and Hawaii 56-10, Michigan has shown they have a high-powered offense against sub-par teams. Michigan knows they are going to win this game, but I think UConn runs the ball and tries to shorten the game. This pick is mainly because the number is insanely high and I think if UConn can manage to score 10 points, they should cover.

#12 BYU @ #25 Oregon (BYU +3.5 -110)

This line doesn’t make sense to me and seems a bit fishy. BYU, who has been on fire, getting their top two WR’s back is a 3.5 point dog to Oregon? I know in college football that playing at home is huge, but if this game was played at BYU, they would be a 5.5 to 7 point favorite. I am looking at this line and it screams to take Oregon. BYU had a win over a really good Baylor team without those key WRs.  Which is why I am going to back the team that is 2-0 against the spread and doesn’t have Bo Nix as their QB.

#22 Penn State @ Auburn (Auburn +3 -110)

This is an interesting game. Penn St looks to not be as bad as people thought they would be at the beginning of the season. They have taken care of Ohio and a decent Purdue team in the previous weeks, showing they might be the real deal. However, Auburn has one of the best home atmospheres in college football, and they also have one of the best running backs in the country in Tank Bigsby. Not only do I like Auburn to keep this game close, I think they have a real shot at winning this game.

Fresno St @ #7 USC (USC -11.5 -110)

USC has been awesome for us so far this year, covering the spread in both their first two games and we look to go back to the well in this one. Fresno St hasn’t covered either of their first two games this year. USC is scoring 53.5 points per game and Fresno St is at 33.5. I think USC is better on defense than people give them credit for as well. I think USC makes another statement and takes care of business and wins by two touchdowns behind a Caleb Williams big game.

Buffalo @ Coastal Carolina (CCU -13.5 -110)

Coastal Carolina QB Grayson McCall picked up right where he left off last season. He has been a great team leader and has been putting up decent numbers this season. The last two games for both of these teams are very telling. Buffalo lost to Holy Cross 37-31 and Maryland 31-10. Coastal, on the other hand, took down Gardner-Webb 31-27 and Army 38-28. Coastal will look to put up some points at home on their weird colored field and Buffalo clearly doesn’t have the offense or defense to hang in there with them this season. I think Coastal can win this game by two or more touchdowns at home.

Troy @ App St (App St -13.5 -110)

Fresh off a win against #6 Texas A&M, App St has earned themselves a College Gameday. They will be fired up about get their first ever College Gameday and not only that, they’re a good team. App St has a history of putting up big numbers against Troy and they will be looking to show up in front of a giant audience. I think Troy falls behind early and they don’t have the fire power to get back into the game. I think App St takes care of business at home and secures the win and the cover.
