This installment of the four best college football games for week four of the 2022 football season is here.

Four Best College Football Games Of Week Four

Week four is already here and there are some solid games on the schedule, including some major conference matchups and playoff eliminator games as well. In week three there were several upsets that once again shaked the foundation of the playoffs as Oregon crushed BYU, Washington upset Michigan State, Texas A&M defeated Miami and Arkansas was given a scare by FCS school Missouri State. Week four is also loaded with plenty of must see games like, 3-0 Maryland vs 3-0 Michigan, Clemson vs Wake Forest, Baylor vs Iowa State, and Arkansas vs Texas A&M. As the conference championship pictures will start to form as well.

Maryland (3-0) vs Michigan (3-0)

The Maryland Terrapins face their toughest test of the season in this one when they head to Ann Arbor to play the fourth ranked and undefeated Michigan Wolverines here in week four of the 2022-23 college football season. Neither of these teams have played a Big Ten Conference game prior to this week four showdown so it’ll be interesting to see how their play over the first three weeks of the season translates into conference play. Maryland is coming off of a seven point win over SMU, while Michigan made quick work of UConn over the weekend. As both of these teams have yet to play a fellow power five school as well.

Clemson (3-0) vs Wake Forest (3-0)

Two undefeated Atlantic Coast Conference teams are set to square off in this huge top 25 matchup in week four of the 2022-23 college football season. Both of these teams come into this matchup undefeated and they will be looking to pick up a statement victory. This is also a game that could go a long way in determining who wins the Atlantic division in the conference as these two teams are likely going to finish at number one and number two when the season ends. Clemson already has a conference win this season after defeating Georgia Tech in the opening game of the year. While Wake Forest is coming off of a thrilling win over Liberty.

Baylor (2-1) vs Iowa State (3-0)

The Baylor Bears will be looking to grab a huge Big 12 conference victory here in week four of the 2022 college football season. Neither Baylor or Iowa State has played a Big 12 conference game up until this point in the year which makes this game huge from a leverage standpoint. As both of these teams are expected to fight for a spot

in the Big 12 championship game this season. This will also be a college football playoff elimination game for Baylor after they suffered a previous loss to BYU a few weeks ago.

Arkansas (3-0) vs Texas A&M (2-1)

This huge SEC clash should be a good one as the Arkansas Razorbacks take on the Texas A&M Aggies in week four of the 2022–23 college football season. Texas A&M is coming off of a huge victory over Miami while Arkansas barely survived FCS Program Missouri State. Both of these teams will be looking for a huge conference victory here in week number four and to add yet another top 25 win to their resume as well.

Every single week of the 2022 college football season is full of action-packed high stakes matchups and you can check out the entire series here. Week four is by far one of the most packed weeks of the season and this is what the game needs more of these early season weeks that are full of exciting playoff-caliber matchups.
