In this series, we will outline fantasy football advice as it relates to our beloved Eagles. Every week we will go through each player at the following positions: QB, RB, WR, and TE – with each player at those positions being tagged with a start/sit/FLEX designation.

Let’s fly, Eagles Nation!

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts START:

Jalen Hurts should be viewed as a must start until further notice. With one of the safest floors in fantasy right now at the QB position, Hurts has proven to be a fantasy football machine since taking over as the starting QB for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Gardner Minshew SIT:

Unless an injury occurs to Hurts or a blowout win/loss Gardner will continue to offer no fantasy value.

Running Back

Miles Sanders START:

Miles Sanders seems entrenched in the starting role – finally! Continue to leave him in your starting lineups as he continues to provide great value, weekly.

Kenneth Gainwell FLEX:

Kenny G is locked into the passing game as the preferred pass catching option at the position. In deeper leagues, he has potential to turn in double digit performances on an offense that likes to utilize some check downs.

Boston Scott SIT:

Unless you’re in 14 team leagues or deep roster leagues, Boston probably shouldn’t be considered to start, in any cap. Though if an injury occurs with the two aforementioned backs, he should be rostered immediately.

Wide Receiver

AJ Brown START:

A number one option in a high scoring offense? Sign me up. Washington has no one who can stop A.J. and I think we’ll see his first TD of the season.

DeVonta Smith START:

Smitty found himself back into many of fantasy managers good graces after last week – at least those who decided to start him as we suggested. DeVonta should see plenty of one on one matchups this weekend and should make an impact with a heavy compliment of targets.

Quez Watkins SIT:

Quez had a very nice week in Week Two against Minnesota. The issue remains though, which games can you trust him in to produce from a fantasy football perspective?

Zach Pascal SIT:

Zach just hasn’t seen the snap count to be considered as a fantasy contributor. Pascal is one of those guys who is a better real life football player than fantasy football contributor.

Tight End

Dallas Goedert START:

A must start every week at the most volatile position in fantasy football – there’s just not many TE’s who perform well from week to week. He will be a total mismatch against Washington.
