In this series, we will outline fantasy football advice as it relates to our beloved Eagles. Every week we will go through each player at the following positions: QB, RB, WR, and TE – with each player at those positions being tagged with a start/sit/FLEX designation.

Let’s fly, Eagles Nation!

Start of the Week!

Dallas Goedert – He has been elite this year and we think today is the day he EXPLODES!

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts START:

Jalen Hurts had his ”most average” game on Sunday against Jacksonville and the weather, likely, had much to do with the performance. Hurts and the Eagles travel to Arizona this week to take on the Cardinals, indoors, so the weather should not be a factor. According to TeamRankings.com, the Cardinals are ranked 23rd in the league against the pass while allowing 255.8 yards per game. Start Jalen Hurts.

Running Back

Miles Sanders START:

Boy was I wrong last week in sitting Boobie. Miles had his best day as a Philadelphia Eagle and I told you to sit him, my apologies! Miles is now third in the league in rushing with 356 yards and 3 touchdowns and faces an Arizona team that’s been hemorrhaging points – start him!

Kenneth Gainwell FLEX:

While I was wrong about Miles Sanders last week, hopefully you scored some points with Gainwell’s second touchdown of the season. Kenny is the clear passing down back and has had his opportunities this year and as we head into the bye weeks, he could be a sneaky play.

Wide Receiver

AJ Brown START:

Five catches for 95 yards – that is what “Swole Batman” amassed last week and that seems to be his “floor”. If you play in PPR leagues, there has been few wide receivers this year who you can start with confidence better than A.J. Brown.

DeVonta Smith START:

DeVonta didn’t love the weather last week but indoors this week means he should be started this week without fear. According to FantasyPros, Smitty is ranked in the early 20’s amongst wide receivers this year and that includes a game where he had zero catches. Start DeVonta Smith.

Quez Watkins SIT:

Quez’s production continues to be too inconsistent to be considered in our lineups, but he’s a nice stash and could surprise us with a performance from time to time.

Zach Pascal SIT:

Pascal will not be a viable option this year, that much is clear, but he will be important to the Eagles as a wide receiver who does all the ”dirty work”.

Tight End

Dallas Goedert START:

Dallas Goedert is a consensus top five player at his position (according to FantasyPros) this year and he hasn’t even had his ”blow up game” yet – he needs to be in your starting lineups every week. Goedert is averaging five targets and 60 yards per game, if he can score more consistently, we may be talking about an elite tight end by season’s end.

Cheers to you all and here’s to hoping we could assist with your lineups this week. We’ll follow up next week and please don’t forget to check us out on FacebookTwitter and on FlyEaglesNation.com! Stay tuned for more great Eagles content. Fly Eagles Fly!
