With Super Bowl LIX officially in the books, the 2025 NFL Draft order is set. With that now solidified, as the late great Brodie Lee would always say, “You Know What That Means”. It’s Mock draft time and This will be a monthly journey and split into two parts (1-16) and (17-32). Also, there are no trades whatsoever in this mock, as it is way too early to do it. The best time to start doing trades in Mock Drafts is 2 weeks away from the Draft. The Tennessee Titans are now on the clock.
1. Tennessee Titans – QB Cam Ward (Miami)
![nfl, draft](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Cam-Ward-4-1024x683.jpg)
Tennessee has a whole lot of problems, and QB is definitely on the list. Neither Will Levis nor Mason Rudolph has what it takes to be franchise QB’s in this league. To win, you need a QB, and the best on the board is Cam Ward. Tennessee will take their QB and hope for the best and he can develop under Brian Callahan. Why he is still employed again?
2. Cleveland Browns – QB Shedeur Sanders (Colorado)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-153-1024x683.png)
Deshaun Watson can’t play football anymore, and now that he has retorn his Achilles, he will not even be healthy enough to play next year. He unfortunately can’t get cut thanks to that albatross of a contract they gave him. What makes things worse is that Jameis Winston is a free agent, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson is awful. It’s impossible to win in the NFL without competent QB play, and the Browns need it. With Cam Ward getting drafted by Tennessee, the Browns will immediately take Shedeur Sanders with the next pick.
3. New York Giants – CB/WR Travis Hunter (Colorado)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-156-1024x683.png)
Well, there goes the only quarterbacks that should be drafted in the first round. Kyle McCord and Jaxson Dart won’t be taken until Day 2 of the draft. The Giants have so many other needs, why not fill both with one pick? Travis Hunter can help with that, as he plays both Cornerback and Wide Receiver. Two positions the Giants need right now, and honestly, Hunter is just too good to pass on at this spot. He could easily be the face on that Giant’s defense immediately
4. New England Patriots – DE/EDGE Abdul Carter (Penn State)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-159-1024x683.png)
The Patriots were awful everywhere on defense. The biggest weak spot was rushing the passer, and the Patriots were one of the worst of the league last season. It’s clear Abdul Carter is the best pass rusher on the board and the Patriots could use him to fix the defense. It’s either a pass rusher or an offensive tackle here.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars – DT Mason Graham (Michigan)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-161-1024x683.png)
The Jaguars are in an interesting spot here. They have so many needs that they can draft a player on either side of the football and it would be logical. The Jaguars need to fix their defensive line and haven’t found a suitable replacement since Calais Campbell left years ago. Mason Graham would help the Jags defense in stopping the run and rushing the passer
6. Las Vegas Raiders – RB Ashton Jeanty (Boise State)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-163-1024x683.png)
The Raiders organization loves picking players that have speed. The last time they didn’t choose speed, was when they passed on Calvin Johnson Jr and drafted JaMarcus Russell, one of the biggest busts in NFL history. Ashton Jeanty has that level of speed and would be an upgrade at running back for the Raiders. Since they can’t get their QB of the future, why not get their running back of the future with this selection?
7. New York Jets – DT Kenneth Grant (Michigan)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-172-1024x683.png)
The Jets’ defense was a tremendous disappointment, and the biggest problem was how bad their run defense was. That should be the area the Jets need to address with this pick, and Kenneth Grant is the next man up. Quinnen Williams is great, but he was sorely missing a John Franklin-Myers by his side. What a brilliant move it was trading him away to the Denver Broncos for pennies on the dollar.
8. Carolina Panthers – DE/EDGE James Pearce (Tennessee)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-171-1024x683.png)
Carolina has not had a good pass rusher since Brian Burns. They traded him 2 years ago to the Giants, and in this draft, it’s time to find his long-term replacement. James Pearce is the best option available, as he put a ton of pressure on the quarterback the past few years. He fills a gigantic need, and could be a face that the defense has needed since Luke Kuechly retired.
9. New Orleans Saints – CB Azareye’h Thomas (Florida State)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-170-1024x538-1-1024x683.png)
Azareye’h Thomas, out of Florida State might be the best cornerback in this draft. Not only is he tall, but he has strong coverage skills. He can become a shutdown cornerback, and the Saints need that with the team trading Marshon Lattimore during the trade deadline last season.
10. Chicago Bears – OG Tyler Booker (Alabama)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-168-1024x538-1-1024x683.png)
Caleb Williams might not have had a fantastic season, but with how bad the Bears o-line was, no QB could succeed. The interior offensive line is where the bigger problems lie, and Tyler Booker is one of the best blockers in this draft. He would be a great pick to improve the run game and protect Caleb.
11. San Francisco 49ers – OT Will Campbell (LSU)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-167-1024x683.png)
Trent Williams is one of the greatest blindside tackles in the NFL, however, he is turning 37 years old in July. The 49ers need to find a successor when Williams chooses to retire or leave the team. Will Campbell, while having average length, is the best tackle in this draft class. He would be a great blocker for the 49ers, and with a year of learning from Trent Williams, he should be a great piece on this offensive line.
12. Dallas Cowboys – WR Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-158-1.png)
What the heck the Cowboys are doing? It’s so unclear what Jerry Jones is planning here. However, they need another receiver for Dak to throw to as it looks like Brandin Cooks might be leaving the team, and the Cowboys offense could use some extra firepower on, offense. At this spot, McMillan would be way too good for them to pass on and Dallas goes the best player available.
13. Miami Dolphins – OT Kelvin Banks (Texas)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-155-1.png)
An argument can be made that wide receiver should be the pick here, as Tyreek Hill is a tremendous piece of work and might want out of the team. To be honest, Miami needs to get rid of that guy and fast. Looking at the entire team, Miami’s offensive line is not good, and with Tua’s injury history, they need another tackle badly. Kelvin Banks is a strong pass protector, and he could even be moved to guard too if he struggles at tackle. Protecting the QB is always a good idea and Banks will help out with ensuring Tua doesn’t get hurt.
14. Indianapolis Colts – CB Will Johnson (Michigan)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/71703332007-20231125-dg-um-1507-1024x683.jpg)
The Colts defense got exposed the last few weeks of the season. Mainly because it got hidden, due to Anthony Richardson trending towards getting the bust label. Gus Bradley got fired, but there is still plenty of work that needs to be done. They have to improve this secondary, and the best player available is Will Johnson, who can easily be put as the number 1 cornerback on the team. Johnson is versatile in coverage and can play both man-to-man and zone.
15. Atlanta Falcons – DE/EDGE Mykel Williams (Georgia)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/USATSI_24938450_168414004_lowres-1024x683.jpg)
The biggest mistake Atlanta made last offseason was signing Kirk Cousins to that ridiculous contract and drafting Michael Penix Jr 8th overall. A big reason was they didn’t have the cap space to fix the pass-rushing unit on this defense. Yes, they got Matthew Judon, but he showed signs of decline. Atlanta’s defense was awful, and if they had a pass rusher, they might have made the playoffs. That changes as the Falcons take Mykel Williams, who has experience playing in the state of Georgia, and won’t have to leave it.
16. Arizona Cardinals – S Malakai Starks (Georgia)
![](https://www.stadiumrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-150-1024x683.png)
Arizona’s defense was mediocre last season, and their big weakness was their secondary. Budda Baker at safety is great, but imagine him being paired with another safety. Malakai Starks is the best safety in the draft, and he will help this defense improve their lack of consistent coverage.
