This is Part 2 of my first Mock Draft for the 2025 NFL Draft. This pick is a continuation if the draft were to happen today. Now keep in mind there are no trades whatsoever in this mock as It is way too early to determine a trade in the Mock Draft. The best time to start doing trades in Mock Drafts is 2 weeks away from the Draft. Alright so let’s get into business where the Cinncinati Bengals are now on the clock with the 17th pick in the draft.

17. Cincinnati Bengals – TE Tyler Warren (Penn State)

Cinncinati could be losing Tee Higgins in Free Agency. So the Bengals got to get another target for Joe Burrow to throw the football too. Tyler Warren at this spot is way too good to pass on and he would be an upgrade over Mike Gesicki who is also a free agent this offseason. Even if Gesicki stays, him and Warren would be a solid tight end duo.

18. Seattle Seahawks – DT Alfred Collins (Texas)

Seattle’s in an interesting spot as they need help on both the offensive and defensive line. Last year they drafted Byron Murphy who showed flashes last season. Why not add to that defensive line putting Alfred Collins next to him? Collins and Murphy played with each other in Texas and I think they would be such a great duo in Seattle’s defense.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – LB Jalon Walker (Georgia)

Tampa has a ton of problems on that team. A big one is coaching, but Todd Bowles is sticking around for some reason. When looking at their defense, they have a gigantic problem at linebacker. They struggled to cover the middle of the field and Lavonte David is 35 years old. Plus, David is a free agent and might not be back next season.

20. Denver Broncos – WR Luther Burden (Missouri)

Excluding Cortland Sutton Bo Nix does not have a consistently good receiver on the roster. That changes in this draft and the Broncos, decide to take a receiver at this spot and the best available is Luther Burden. He has the speed and athleticism to make an impact on this offense. They were sorely missing that in their playoff appearance against the Bills.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers – DT Shemur Turner (Texas A&M)

Cameron Hayward is nearing the end of his career and the Steelers need to prepare for his successor. Out of the defensive tackles available, Shemur Turner would be the best option as he fits the scheme more and heck he could even be moved to pass rusher as well if they choose.

22. Los Angeles Chargers- TE Colston Loveland (Michigan)

With Jim Harbaugh back in the NFL coaching and being close to many players in Michigan, this pick feels like a no-brainer move. Colston Loveland would be a nice target for Justin Herbert to throw the football too. Honestly, have the Chargers ever had a good tight end since Antonio Gates retired? I honestly can’t remember to be honest.

23. Green Bay Packers – WR Isaiah Bond (Texas)

Thanks to the head coach’s idiotic decision to not ensure health for the playoffs, Christian Watson tore his ACL, and the Packers now need another wide receiver. Honestly, the Packers don’t have a number 1 receiver on the roster and Isiah Bond has a ton of potential. He is another player who has the speed and hands to become a good receiver in this league. Never hurts to surround Jordan Love with more receivers to throw too.

24. Minnesota Vikings – LB/S Nick Emmanwori (South Carolina)

Harrison Smith their long-tenured safety is 36 years old and they have to find a replacement for him. They tried with Lewis Cine a few years ago, but due to injuries, it did not work out. Worse or worse Emmanwori could be used as a linebacker as he has the physical skills and athleticism to play both positions. He can strengthen that defense for next season making it more scarier.

25. Houston Texans – OT Emery Jones (LSU)

The Texans offensive line was very lackluster last season. CJ Stroud regressed as a result of inconsistent o-line play and the Texans have to bolster it. Will Campbell is getting a ton of hype in this draft class, but like Yoda from Star Wars would say “There is another”. Yes another LSU Tackle is available to draft and he is as talented. His name is Emery Jones and he is a very good run and pass protector. He can even play at guard or tackle which both are needed for this team.

26 Los Angeles Rams – WR Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State)

This is the Cooper Kupp replacement on offense. The Rams have made it known that he played his last game as a Ram and plan to either release or trade him this offseason. I like Puka Nacua, but they need another receiver for Stafford to throw too. Emeka Egbuka can easily fit in Cooper Kupp’s role as the Rams are one of his best fits.

27. Baltimore Ravens – DE/EDGE Mike Green (Marshall)

Mike Green is a guy I have had my eye on for a while, but after watching him at the Senior Bowl, I am sold on him. The Ravens could use a pass rusher as they were so sloppy putting pressure on the quarterback all season. Mike Green can help with that for Baltimore and while he is a little Raw, he has potential in this league. Green is a sleeper to go in the first round and it wouldn’t be a shock if a team like Baltimore took a chance on him.

28. Detroit Lions – DE/EDGE Jack Sawyer (Ohio State)

Lions need pass rushers badly and that got exposed the moment Aidan Hutchinson suffered that brutal injury against the Dallas Cowboys. Za’Darius Smith was a player the Lions acquired at the deadline, but he is not the future of this team. Out of the prospects available, Jack Sawyer is an option for Detroit and he could be a nice piece on this defense.

29. Washington Commanders – CB Benjamin Morrison (Notre Dame)

Commanders defense has problems in its secondary. Especially at cornerback and what was this team thinking years ago taking Emmanuel Forbes over Christian Gonzalez. They got Marshonne Lattimore at the deadline, but the Commanders need more depth at this spot. Benjamin Morrison is a player many mock as a mid to late 1st round pick and he makes sense going here.

30. Buffalo Bills – CB Trey Amos (Ole Miss)

Rasul Douglas is a free agent and Kaiir Elan has not planned out. They need to take another chance at a cornerback in round one and Trey Amos makes sense at this spot. Not only for him being a nice schematic fit in Buffalo’s defense but with his speed and athleticism, there is potential here. Buffalo has got to do something with their cap issues and the best way to fix the cornerback problem is by drafting one.

31. Kansas City Chiefs – OT Earnest Greene III (Georgia)

After what we witnessed in Superbowl LIX, it might be best for the Kansas City Chiefs to draft a tackle in round 1. I am going to throw in a name that I like as a prospect in this class and its Earnest Greene III. He is super athletic, a strong run blocker, and plays with a nasty mentality. Heck, the Chiefs could even plug him in at Guard if they need to. Protecting Patrick Mahomes is always a wise move and drafting an offensive lineman will help with that.

32. Philadelphia Eagles – LB Jihaad Campbell (Alabama)

Philadelphia does not have tremendous needs, however, they could use some help at linebacker while Nakobe Dean recovering from a torn ACL. Out of the linebackers on the board, Jihaad Campbell makes the most sense. He is very athletic, but he is a little raw. With some time and the Eagles having a really good coaching staff, it would make sense for the Eagles to take a chance drafting him in round 1.
