Cleveland Guardians Are Done For

The Cleveland Guardians fell to the New York Yankees Friday night in Game Four of the ALCS, giving New York a 3-1 series lead because of Cleveland’s closer Emmanuel Clase.

Clase was awesome through the regular season, but he hasn’t had it in the postseason, and during game three of the ALCS, everything you needed to know about the closer was revealed.

The Yankees were down in the game with a score of 3-1, and Clase gave up a two-run homer to Aaron Judge to tie the game. Then, a batter later, Giancarlo Stanton sent a home run to orbit to give New York a one-run lead.

The Guardians would come back and win the games in extras, but Clase decided he wanted to be a horrible teammate and left the clubhouse five minutes after the game was over and didn’t celebrate the win with the team.

Clase decided to go home and post videos on Instagram of all his trophies and rings that he had won, and then a night later, he gave up two runs in the ninth inning and gave the Yankees the easy win.

It sucks to say, but Clase is a horrible teammate, and he is one of the main reasons why Cleveland will not be playing for a World Series this season.

There are a handful of players on the Guardians that have heart and fight back every way they can, but Clase is the exact opposite.

This series is over, and everyone can go ahead and blame the so-called best closer in baseball.
