The past 48 hours have been rough for one side of New York while the other half of the city is celebrating, and New York Yankees fans are now on the first steps of denial. A week ago, New York Yankees fans were begging on their knees to bring back their star outfielder, Juan Soto, but now that he is heading to Queens to play for the New York Mets, the same fans have changed their tune, stating they didn’t want the All-Star slugger in the first place.

Whenever the Yankees lose out on a player, fans turn quickly, saying they wanted no part of the guy when, in reality, they were saying their midnight prayers to land the player. Some Yankees fans feel Soto’s next 15 years with the Mets will be a disaster because of what he will stop doing to his body.

New York Yankees Fan Think Juan Soto Will Stop Doing Steroids

A very upset New York Yankees Fan, David from Brooklyn, called Tierney and Licata on WFAN and said that, as a Yankee fan, he is delighted his team didn’t get Soto because he is a juicer and will stop taking steroids now that he has his money.

The caller’s proof that Soto is doing steroids is because when he was playing for the Washington Nationals, he was a lot smaller than he is now, and these fans are now on a crazy level of insanity.

New York Yankees fans are like the guy who proposes to his girlfriend, but she says no, and then five minutes later, he starts going on a rant about every flaw and rumor he ever heard about her and acts like he was the one who didn’t want the marriage.

Soto dated the Yankees for a year. The fans were ready to get married, and the 26-year-old saw he had a brighter future somewhere else. Now, the fans who once were picking out their wedding dress are making things up so they can feel better about themselves.

There is zero proof that Soto is doing any steroids, and to make a claim he is juicing because he has more muscle on him now than in 2019 when he was 20 years old is a crazy take; how many young males do you know have put a lot of muscle on from the ages of 19-25 without doing one PED? The answer should be a lot because most men grow into their bodies during that age.

It’s okay to be upset that Soto isn’t heading to your team, but just flat-out lying and trying to ruin a guy’s career is low, and this is sadly something fans from the Bronx do every single time they lose out on a star.

The New York Mets are now the king of the Big Apple, and everyone in baseball wants to see the team in Orange and Blue in the summer rather than the team that brags about their 27 World Series who haven’t won one in 15 years.
