Quarterback power rankings are based on this week’s performance and the previous week’s. 

10. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

After a brutal performance last week, Brock Purdy and the 49ers showed up at home against the Bears with a 38-13 win. 

Purdy completed 80% of his passes for 325 yards, two touchdowns, and a 145.4 rating. He had big plays all day, averaging 16.2 yards per completion. George Kittle (six catches for 151 yards) and Jauan Jennings (seven for 90 yards and two scores) were Purdy’s go-to targets. 

2024 Stats: 6-6 record, 67 completion percentage, 3,314 yards, 19 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a 98.7 rating. 

9. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

In a barn burner against the Bills, Matthew Stafford put up massive numbers in the 44-42 win. He now has 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last four games and rejoins the quarterback power rankings. 

Stafford completed 23 of 30 passes for 320 yards, two touchdowns, and a 132.6 rating. More than half of his completions and yards went to wideout, Puka Nacua, who caught 12 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown. 

2024 Stats: 7-6 record, 67 completion percentage, 3,314 yards, 19 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and a 96.8 rating. 

8. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

7. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles hosted the 3-10 Panthers in what seemed like an easy win. However, Philly squeaked out a 22-16 win. Jalen Hurts dropped four spots despite the win after a decent performance. 

Hurts didn’t have to throw much as the run game was effective. He went 14-21 passing for 108 yards, two touchdowns, and a 110.8 rating. Hurts was more productive with his legs, running for 59 yards and a touchdown. DeVonta Smith and Grant Calcaterra both hauled in touchdown passes. 

2024 Stats: 11-2 record, 68 completion percentage, 3,146 yards, 29 touchdowns, five interceptions, and a 102.4 rating. 

6. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

Last Week: 9th 

Tua Tagovailoa had his fourth straight great week after the Dolphins took down the Jets in overtime. He now has an 11:0 touchdown touchdown-to-interception ratio in his last four outings. 

Miami’s run game was non-existent which resulted in Tagovailoa throwing the ball 47 times. He completed 33 of his attempts, tallying 331 yards, two touchdowns, and a 104.1 rating. Tua and Tyreek’s connection seemed to be back as Hill caught 10 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. Jonnu Smith caught the game-winning score in OT, his fifth endzone trip of the season.

2024 Stats: 5-4 record, 74 completion percentage, 2,506 yards, 17 touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 107.4 rating. 

5. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Last Week: 5th 

Jared Goff stays in the fifth spot on this week’s quarterback rankings after a solid outing against the Packers on Thursday Night Football. With the 34-31 victory, the Lions push their league-best record to 12-1 and have now handed the Packers two of their four losses on the year. 

Goff was accurate once again as he completed 32 of 41 attempts for 283 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and a 109.7 rating. Tim Patrick, who had been out of the league for multiple years, was Goff’s favorite target of the night. Patrick reeled in six passes for 43 yards and two touchdowns. 

2024 Stats: 12-1 record, 72 completion percentage, 3,319 yards, 26 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and a 109.1 rating. 

4. Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings

Last Week: 6th 

Sam Darnold returns to the top five, a place he spent a lot of time earlier in the season. He did so by nearly being perfect in a dominating 42-21 victory over the Falcons. 

In the team’s 11th win of the season, Darnold threw a career-high 347 yards and five touchdowns on 22-28 throwing along with a 157.9 rating. The two-headed monster of Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson combined for 15 catches, 265 yards, and all five scores. 

2024 Stats: 11-2 record, 68 completion percentage, 3,493 yards, 29 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and a 108.1 rating. 

3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Last Week: 4th

Joe Burrow and the Bengals won a much-needed game on Monday Night Football against the Cowboys. The connection between Burrow and wide receiver, Ja’Marr, Chase remained unstoppable against the Dallas secondary. 

In the 27-20 win, Burrow completed 75% of his balls for 369 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and a 112.8 rating. Nearly half of his yards went to Chase as the LSU duo connected for 14 catches, 177 yards, and two scores. The second touchdown was the difference maker as Chase caught a 10-yard curl and bursted for a 40-yard game-winning score. 

2024 Stats: 5-8 record, 68 completion percentage, 3,864 yards, 34 touchdowns, six interceptions, and a 107.9 rating. 

2. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

After back-to-back historic weeks, Josh Allen passes Lamar Jackson for the number one spot in the quarterback power rankings. In a potential game of the year, Allen became the first player ever to run and pass for three touchdowns in a game. 

The MVP favorite completed 22-37 pass attempts for 342 yards, three touchdowns, and a 117.2 rating. He led the team on the ground with 82 yards and three rushing touchdowns, all from one yard away, on 10 carries. Khalil Shakir, Mack Hollins, and Ty Johnson all caught touchdowns.

2024 Stats: 10-3 record, 64 completion percentage, 3,449 yards, 32 touchdowns, five interceptions, and a 101.9 rating.
