Top 10 Quarterback Power Rankings 

Quarterback power rankings are based on this week’s performance and the previous week’s. 

10. Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets

Last Week: 9th 

Aaron Rodgers had a solid outing in a 19-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He now has two straight weeks on the quarterback power rankings. 

In the defeat, the 41-year-old completed 28-42 passes for 256 yards, one touchdown, and a 91 rating. For the second straight week, Davante Adams was his go-to target, reeling in seven catches for 86 yards and the lone Jets score. 

2024 Stats: 4-11 record, 63 completion percentage, 3,618 yards, 24 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a 90.8 rating

9. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts suffered a concussion early in the game against the Washington Commanders. Before exiting, Hurts completed 1-4 passes for 11 yards and rushed for 41 yards on three carries. Without their QB, the Eagles suffered a 36-33 loss.

8. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams continues to look like his true number-one draft pick potential after a great showing against the Detroit Lions. 

In the loss, Williams threw the ball 40 times, completing 26 passes for 334 yards, two scores, and a 107.7 rating. He now has four games this season with 300+ passing yards and 2+ touchdowns in a game. The Bears future also led the team in rushing with 34 yards on six carries. 

7. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs lost the ability to control their own destiny in the NFC South after losing to the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Baker Mayfield still put together a solid game despite the defeat. 

Mayfield completed 72% of his balls for 303 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a 97.3 rating. He also tacked on 42 ground yards on three carries. Jalen McMillan and Ryan Miller were both recipients of Baker’s touchdown passes.

6. Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings

After taking a fall in last week’s quarterback power rankings, Sam Darnold moves up two spots after a big game. Along with his performance, the Vikings defeated the Seahawks 27-24 to keep their NFC one-seed hopes alive. 

Darnold completed 22-35 passes for 246 yards, three touchdowns, and a 112.3 rating. He fed Justin Jefferson 10 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Addison also reeled in a score, his fourth touchdown in three games. 

2024 Stats: 13-2 record, 67 completion percentage, 3,981 yards, 33 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 105.4 rating. 

5. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

Last Week: 6th 

The rookie, Jayden Daniels, prevailed in the Game of the Week. The Commanders came from behind to defeat the Eagles with a last-second touchdown. 

In a roller coaster of a game, Daniels filled up the stat sheet with 23-39 throwing, 258 yards, a career-high five touchdowns, two touchdowns, and a 99.1 rating. He also led the team in rushing with 81 yards on nine attempts. Olamide Zaccheaus and Jamison Crowder both caught two touchdowns and Terry McLaurin also reeled one in. 

2024 Stats: 10-5 record, 70 completion percentage, 4,040 yards, 28 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a 101.3 rating.  

4. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Last Week: 1st 

Josh Allen takes a big tumble in the quarterback power rankings, dropping three spots. Despite the poor game, the Bills still came away with a 24-21 victory behind a defensive touchdown and a great game from James Cook. 

Allen completed 16-29 passes for 154 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and a 67.3 rating. His lone touchdown went to Cook from four yards out. Allen hurt his elbow in the game, which seemed to factor into his performance. Even after the poor outing, number 17 remains the favorite for MVP. 

2024 Stats: 12-3 record, 64 completion percentage, 4,063 yards, 37 touchdowns, six interceptions, and a 101.2 rating

3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Last Week: 2nd 

The Ravens kept their NFC North division title on the line with a 34-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday Night Football. 

Lamar Jackson had a decent game in the victory. He only threw the ball 23 times, completing 17 passes for 207 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and a 115.4 rating. He was limited in the run game, going for 22 yards on nine carries. Both tight ends, Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews, caught touchdown passes as well as Rashod Bateman. 

2024 Stats: 10-5 record, 68 completion percentage, 4,552 yards, 40 touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 120.6 rating. 

2. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Last Week: 5th 

The Bengals cruised past the Cleveland Browns after a strong defensive performance and another great outing from Joe Burrow and the offense.

Burrow showed off his acrobatics with a forward-diving passing touchdown to Tee Higgins in the first quarter. He followed that up with touchdown passes to Andrei Iosivas and Ja’Marr Chase. Burrow finished with a 77% completion rate, 271 total yards, three touchdowns, and a 134.3 rating. 

2024 Stats: 7-8 record, 69 completion percentage, 4, 406 yards, 40 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a 108.5 rating

1. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Last Week: 3rd 

Jared Goff makes his MVP case after leapfrogging Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. He takes the number-one spot for the first time this season. 

In a dominant 34-17 win over the Chicago Bears, Goff completed 23-32 passes for 336 yards, three touchdowns, and a 137 rating. He threw a beautiful deep ball to Jameson Williams for an 82-yard score and also pulled off a fake “stumble-fumble” touchdown pass to Sam LaPorta. Goff has thrown for 830 yards, eight touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the last two weeks. 

2024 Stats: 13-2 record, 71 completion percentage, 4,161 yards, 34 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and a 112.2 rating.
