In some unfortunate news, FC Barcelona’s player, Ferran Torres, will be out for three weeks.

FC Barcelona fans will be sad to learn that Ferran Torres is set to miss three weeks due to injury. This is one of the many injuries that have recently hit the team. Hansi Flick is surely not excited about these setbacks that the club has been plagued with. Another player is now out.

What Happened To FC Barcelona’s Ferran Torres

According to a source close to FC Barcelona, Torres has been hit with another muscle injury. The star will allegedly be out for the next three weeks. The club has already confirmed that Torres is out for some time due to an injury, however, didn’t specify how long he will be out for. A report released by Diario AS states that “Ferran Torres underwent tests this morning which confirmed that he has a small tear in the soleus muscle of his right leg.”

This isn’t the first muscle injury the star suffered from. He was previously injured for a month with a similar muscle injury. Now, Torres will have to spend Christmas healing. It is expected that the player will come back by the third week of January 2025.

Why Will FC Barcelona Miss Torres

FC Barcelona are surely going to miss the Spaniard. Flick’s side have not been fortunate when it comes to injuries. Before this newest one, Torres scored twice and made an assist.

Now, Torres is set to miss Barca’s clash against Barbastro in Copa del Rey. Whether or not Torres will miss even more games after that is still to be known. It’s doubtful that he will rejoin the team before the Spanish Super Cup.

FC Barcelona’s Latest Injuries

With Torres’ recent injury, FC Barcelona is missing even more players. With Lamine Yamal, Andreas Christensen, Ter Stegen, Marc Bernal, and now Torres injured, FC Barcelona isn’t a source of envy. Hopefully, the club won’t suffer from any more injuries anytime soon.
