Twas the night before Christmas in NY Rangers land

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house, Not a Rangers fan was stirring not even a mouse.

The trade stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Drury would soon be there.

The fans were all nestled all snug in their beds, with visions of Stanley Cups dancing in their heads.

But with losing some games and falling apart, The Rangers seemed destined to fail from the start.

when out from the blue seats, there rose such a clatter. We traded Trouba and Kakko and got nothing that mattered!

Mika was saying “you can’t trade me too! my no trade clause makes me untouchable, so boo hoo!”

The coach tried his best to fix some of the holes, even asking Igor if he could score some goals?

When what to my wondering eyes made us shook, hoping a trade of Chris Kreider for Brady Tkachuk!

With little ol’ James Dolan feeling optimistic a ton, now printing Stanley Cup T-shirts predicting a Cup run.

But we know that another trade would not be the answer, this NY Rangers team is sadly a disaster.

The season went on and the Rangers got worse, fell into last place just seems we are cursed.

But its the fans that are crying as we keep counting days, its now 85 years with one cup to raise!

Trade the whole team… fire the coach and GM, it just doesn’t matter with the Rangers emblem.

We realize this team is just destined to fail, so we look forward to baseball season to prevail.

With a sleigh full of draft picks and futures as well, they’ll keep on trying till they get a team to jell.

We’ll finally win a cup in year 2050!, another 54 years till we get to be thrifty!

But as St Drury drove off into the sky filled with drones, he said “fear not, its not all cries and moans!”

He sprang to his sleigh, to his fans gave a whistle, and away he flew like the down of a thistle.

But we heard him exclaim as he laid down a bet, Merry Christmas to all, at least we’re not the NY Jets!
