There is a special place in hell for people who hurt children the way Adrian Peterson did in 2014. Child abuse and sexual abuse are some of the most disgusting and reprehensible actions a human being can engage in. The devil will shove his pitchfork into all of Peterson’s orifices in the afterlife, but for those who would like to see justice served sooner rather than later, there is not much of a wait left. Two warrants for his arrest have been issued in Texas, related to his failure to show up in two separate child support cases.
The former Minnesota Vikings running back, who made over $100 million during his career, is required to include post-retirement NFL benefits as part of his child support payments to two women. Peterson, who is also trying to pay off $12 million in debt, said his failure to appear was just a misunderstanding, and his legal team is trying to straighten out the matter for him. He is keeping the team extremely busy, as they recently negotiated a “no contest” plea for him in October, resulting in a $500 fine, after he physically assaulted a woman from behind.
Adrian Peterson History Of Child Abuse
In 2014, the NFL suspended Peterson for the season after he was accused of beating his 4-year-old son. According to reports, Peterson’s son was being disciplined for pushing another one of his children during a dispute over a video game. The method of punishment chosen by the 6’1, 205-pound professional football player for the toddler, was to shove leaves in the child’s mouth, while repeatedly whipping him with a switch, leaving swelling, marks, and lacerations up and down the child’s legs, and on his lower back, buttocks, and genitalia.
The photos, taken by the boy’s mother and published online, were hard to look at. The punishment was akin to holding the child down by his throat, and repeatedly striking him in the face with a closed fist. Despite the extreme nature of the beating the child endured, there was a faction of fans and other crazies who said this was nothing more than a good ol’ spanking. Within this group were extremists who defended the actions based on where Peterson was raised. They believe if a person isn’t willing to beat a child bloody, they shouldn’t be parents.
In this case, Peterson pleaded “no contest” to misdemeanor reckless assault, keeping him out of prison, and costing him $4,000 in fines, and 80 hours of community service. In weepingly pleading with the court, he said he regretted the incident and took full responsibility for his actions. A short time later, he called himself a victory, stating, “I’m sorry for all of this, but I can’t excuse the league’s refusal to be fair.”
What Peterson deemed unfair, was getting paid $14 million to stay away from the field for a year. It’s possible that he would have preferred Roger Goodell to hold him down, shove leaves in his mouth, and whip his entire body bloody with a switch. In 2022, Peterson was arrested for domestic violence against a woman on a plane.
It’s clear that he is not a man at all, he is a monster who belongs in a cage. If there is any justice in the world, his lawyer’s attempt to get him out of a mess he created will prove futile, and he will learn about real regret. Hopefully, he ends up under the supervision of a Warden Norton type, who will “cast him down with the sodomites.”
