Al Nassr defeated Al Wasl 4-0 in the seventh round of Group B in the AFC Champions League on Monday, with much of the credit going to Cristiano Ronaldo’s brilliance. The Portuguese was on fire, scoring a brace. A well-converted penalty, followed by a brilliant header from the center of the box to the top right corner of the net, assisted by Sadio Mane. This victory helped the 39-year-old reach 700 club-level victories, and he continues to break records even at this stage of his illustrious career. 

Ronaldo’s brace confirms that the goal machine now has seven goals in six official games in 2025, and there are no signs of slowing down despite being just a day shy of 40 years old. This was Ronaldo’s 66th win with the Saudi Pro League side after his contract terminated with Manchester United in 2022.

Ronaldo has scored a remarkable 923 goals since his brace on Monday. Given how consistent he’s been, there’s a chance that the Portuguese might make it to 1000 career goals.
