Juventus has had their eyes set on PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani as they hoped to sign him on a loan, but now the deal is on hold.
After several days of negotiations, Juventus are left frustrated over the deal to get Randal Kolo Muani on a loan from Paris Saint-Germain. L’Equipe reports that the deal is now on hold due to a mistake.
What Happened So Far In Juventus’s Deal To Sign Kolo Muani
Juventus have been hoping to sign Kolo Muani for a while. Several clubs were after the forward, hoping to land him on a loan deal. Some of the clubs interested, other than the Italian side, were Manchester United and Tottenham. Reports even pointed out that Tottenham made an offer for Muani.
The Serie A side ended up convincing the French international to choose them over heading to the Premier League. The loan deal is seen as essential by Juventus, but it is now on hold.
Why Is Kolo Muani’s Loan To Juventus On Hold
Juventus were so close to signing Muani on a loan this month. The Paris Saint-Germain outcast was desperate for a move to happen, but now things have been put on hold. The deal was close to happening to the point that Muani had passed his medical and even signed his contract.
The club and the player were surprised to know that the deal can’t happen. The reason behind this is, is that Paris Saint-Germain currently have too many players on loan. So the loan can’t happen at the moment.
The players out on loan right now are: Xavi Simons, Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Juan Bernat, and Cher Ndour. Since six loaned players is the limit, PSG would have to end the loan of one of them.
How Did Juventus React To The News

The French outlet reports that the Serie A side were left furious over this mistake which they find “absolutely amateurish.” What made matters worse, is that their head coach, Thiago Motta, had already confirmed Muani’s arrival only for it to end up not happening. This is enough to leave the Italian side feeling embarrassed.
L’Equipe’s reports pointed out a possible solution that will make the club able to sign Muani. Paris Saint-Germain could sell Cher Ndour and end his loan at Besiktas. If this happens, then some space would be freed for Muani to join Juventus on loan.
What Is The Next Step For Juventus
Right now, Juventus have nothing in their hands to do. The club already has everything agreed on with Muani. The only thing left, is for the error to be solved from Paris Saint-Germain’s side. Once they find a solution, the deal can go through. Until then, Juventus’ fans will be patiently waiting for the deal to happen.
