Manchester City’s Nico González scared fans with an injury scare, but the star has made a swift return.

Manchester City’s bad luck continued as their newest signing, Nico González, was carried off the pitch during his debut match against Leyton Orient. However, things are looking better for the team.

What Happened To Nico González?

González scared the team’s fans after he suffered an injury during the City’s match against Leyton Orient. While the match ended 2-1 for City, they thought that they lost González to injury.

The injury scare came after a clash with Leyton Orient’s Sonny Perkins which made González leave the pitch after 22 minutes from coming in.

Manchester City’s González Returns

The club’s fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as González seems to be doing well and back from injury.

The 23-year-old posted to his X account a picture of him during Manchester City’s training with the words “Back in training, Let’s go City!!!”

Will Nico González Be Available For Real Madrid Match?

González’s injury brought doubt on whether he will play in Manchester City’s match against Real Madrid on February 11th.

Pep Guardiola, however, made sure to comment on it by responded to whether González would be available or not “I hope so. The kick was strong in this area. We have a few days, we will see.”

González Can Shine At City

González was a last-minute deal for the club as they managed to sign him for around £50 million. The former FC Barcelona star was seen as a great signing for Manchester City who are still missing Rodri.

Rodri’s injury might be unfortunate for Guardiola’s side, but it will give González a chance to prove himself and show the fans what he is capable of.

Now that González’s back, City’s woes become less. The team has been suffering from several injuries including that of Rodri.

Their recent performances will make them hope that no more injuries happen. Fortunately for Manchester City, González’s injury scare is over.
