2024 Chicago Bears Record Projection
Can the Bears catch lightning in a bottle and take over the NFL?
Football is back and there is no better place to look than Chicago. The Bears have been arguably the most exciting story of the offseason. With the addition of Caleb Williams, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, and D'Andre Swift, the Bears have the firepower to contend now.
Week 1: Vs. Tennessee Titans
Final Score: 31-17 Bears
Week 1 for the Bears kicks off at home against the new-look Tennessee Titans. The Titans will be led by QB Will Levis and a revamped offense that Includes newcomers Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley. The Bears are a better team and Soldier Field will be rockin' to see Caleb Williams make his debut. The Titans will put up a fight but the Bears are going to overwhelm them.
Week 2: @ Houston Texans
Final Score: 28-21 Texans
This could be the biggest game on the Bears' schedule that doesn't involve the division. CJ Stroud is coming off the greatest season by a rookie ever, and the Texans fueled up by adding receiver Stefon Diggs and running back Joe Mixon to an already great offense. This will be Williams and the Bears' first test and on the road in Houston will be too much too quickly.
Week 3: @ Indianapolis Colts
Final Score: 24-20 Colts
The Colts are a wildcard in 2024 as no one can grasp what they will be. Second-year QB Anthony Richardson looked like a superstar when he was on the field last year, but unfortunately, he was plagued with injuries in almost every game he played. If, and only If Richardson is healthy, the Bears will be hurting with back-to-back road games making this a tough one to rebound on.
Week 4: Vs. Los Angeles Rams
Final Score 31-14 Bears
This is the rebound the Bears will be looking for. The Rams have struggled in Chicago before and in need of a win, the Bears will come out hot in front of their home crowd. This is where we will see it begin to click for Caleb and the offense as they work through the season. The Bears will dominate this game in all fashions putting the league on notice.
Week 5: Vs. Carolina Panthers
Final Score: 42-7 Bears
Back to .500 and coming off a big win the Bears get the Panthers at home. This is going to be a miserable game for Panthers fans as they get to see what the Bears have done with all the capital the Panthers gave them. The train begins to roll and it looks like they can't be knocked off track.
Week 6: Vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London Game)
Final Score 21-10 Bears
The Bears travel across the pond to face Trevor Lawerence and the Jaguars. This will be a good test for the Bears' Defense as Lawerence and the Jags have a strong offense. Fortunately, the offense will be in full swing and the Jags won't be able to keep up as the travel and opponent weigh heavy on them.
Week 7: Bye Week
The Bears go into the Bye week 4-2 with a lot of optimism as their offense has found its stride and the defense is playing second fiddle for such a strong unit. The best situation for the Bears would be to look to add a pass-rushing threat opposite of Montez Sweat. If they can add to their already great defense, it could mean real trouble for the rest of the league
Week 8: @ Washington Commanders
Final Score 31-20 Bears
The Battle of the Top two picks from the past year's NFL Draft will go down on Thursday Night in the nation's capital. Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams will go to war in week 8 as the Bears look to continue their win streak. The pieces in Washington are not all there yet and they are still a year or two away. The Bears are rolling having won 3 straight before the bye week, and the train won't stop here.
Week 9: @ Arizona Cardinals
Final Score: 27-20 Cardinals
The Cardinals may be overlooked going into 2024 but they have a roster that is ready to compete. Kyler Murray and company will look to spoil the Bears' run. This looks to be a regression spot for the Bears' win streak to end here on the road in Arizona. In a close battle, turnovers will be the difference and the Bears will be on the short end of the stick.
Week 10: Vs. New England Patriots
Final Score: 40-3 Bears
Another battle of rookie QBs will go down in Chicago as Drake Maye and Caleb Williams look to make a second-half run. The Bears will try and rebound from a tough loss in Arizona and get back to their winning form. They will do just that by blowing the Patriots out of the water in front of the windy city faithful.
Week 11: Vs. Green Bay Packers
Final Score 27-24 Bears
The game that every Bears fan looks for when their schedule is released has finally come. The Green Bay Packers don't need an introduction to Chicago fans as this is the biggest rivalry in the NFL. Finally, after years of disappointment, the Bears have the QB and the roster. Chicago is ready to get the better of this matchup. The Bears will be more prepared for this game than any other and will show the world they are not to be trifled with. At home, in front of the city, Caleb will put on a show and lead the Bears on a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter.
Week 12: Vs. Minnesota Vikings
Final Score: 30-13 Bears
The Bears play pretty much every rookie Quarterback this year and chances are at this point JJ McCarthy will be the starter in Minnesota. The Bears are 7-3 and right in the thick of the division race. They will continue their roll at home against the Vikings beating them handily.
Week 13: @ Detriot Lions
Final Score: 27-24 Lions
After winning 4 of 5 coming off the bye, the Bears are in a perfect position to secure themselves a playoff spot. The Division is still up for grabs between the Bears, Lions, and Packers all fighting to be crowned Kings of the North. On the road in Detriot is a tough place to play, especially against this talented Lions team. The Bears will take a step back here, losing to a team that was one game away from the Super Bowl last year.
Week 14: @ San Francisco 49ers
Final Score: 31-24 49ers
The Bears will travel to San Francisco to take on the reigning NFC Champions, the 49ers. This could be a playoff preview as the two should be in prime playoff positioning. San Fran is loaded still, not much has changed from their roster a year ago. This will be a tough game for the Bears, especially with back-to-back road games. This could be a trap for the Bears as they play the best of the best two weeks in a row. They will hang in there, but overall the 49ers will be too much for them.
Week 15: @ Minnesota Vikings
Final Score 28-10 Bears
Looking to bounce back from two straight losses the Bears are on the road again. After taking care of business against the Vikings earlier in the year, they will look to repeat the same. There should be a fire lit under the Bears to turn it around and get into the playoffs with only four weeks left in the season. The train gets back on the tracks as they handle the Vikings.
Week 16: Vs. Detriot Lions
Final Score 17-13 Bears
Just two weeks after losing in Detroit, the Bears get to see the Lions in Chicago. It is going to be freezing, and it's going to be a grind-it-out win. With the possible division title on the line, the Bears will have to be at their best to beat Detriot. With the city behind them and the weather in their favor, the Bears will get the best of the Lions in this one, splitting the series between the two.
Week 17: Vs. Seattle Seahawks
Final Score: 21-10 Bears
Seattle comes into town for a Week 17 matchup with the Bears that could have many playoff implications. Bears OC Shane Waldren is very familiar with Seattle as he spent the past three seasons there. The Bears should be in a great spot at 10-5, still very much in the playoff picture. The Bears should roll at home in the elements and with a sold-out crowd ready for postseason football.
Week 18: @ Green Bay Packers
Final Score: 28-27 Packers
This game is going to be unbelievable to watch. Possible division title on the line, a possible playoff game on the line, and the reputation of the new-look Chicago Bears hanging in the balance. After beating them early in the season, the Bears could come into this game with a lot of confidence. However, playing in Green Bay is going to be a tough thing for a rookie QB to do. Unfortunately, the Bears will fall here, still stumbling into the playoffs but not on the right foot.
Overall Record: 11-6
The Bears are back. Caleb Williams is going to be good and 11-6 is exactly what you want to see from Caleb with the team he has around him. There will be some letdowns early but eventually, the Bears will hit their stride and go on a run. It looks to be a playoff berth for the Bears for the first time since 2020 in a year of many new beginnings. The likely outcome of the playoffs is a divisional-round loss to a team with a bit more playoff experience. This team is built to win not just now but for the foreseeable future. Watch out for the Bears in 2024 as they begin the new dynasty of the Windy City.
