2024 NFL Week 10 Predictions

Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson is in MVP form right now, and he's not slowing down.

Both these teams scored 41 points on the way to victory in week nine. The Ravens had a down game in week eight, but Lamar Jackson bounced back with a perfect passer rating and Derrick Henry scored his 100th (and 101st) career rushing touchdown. The Bengals looked great in Joe Burrow’s five-touchdown performance, but they still allowed the Raiders offense two touchdowns and a field goal. Cincy’s problem is still its defense, and Baltimore should have a field day with that.

Winner: Ravens

New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers in Germany

Malik Nabers
Malik Nabers and the Giants have a chance to turn things around in Germany.

This game could be the battle for the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Both of these teams have looked abysmal through nine weeks and this is tough to call for all the wrong reasons. The Giants defense has regressed without Kayvon Thibodeaux, and the secondary has struggled down the field. The offense played a decent game in week nine, and if they can repeat that here, they should be able to push the Panthers even further down the totem pole.

Winner: Giants

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin
Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin are a dangerous duo.

The Steelers are coming off a bye week in this one. They had a strong win over the Giants in week eight, and the defense looks more efficient than ever. They’re facing off with a terrific Commanders team. Washington is currently 7-2 on the year and running away with the NFC East. The Steelers' offense looks great with Russell Wilson under center, and they finally seem to have an identity. This will likely be a close game, but Washington has the tools to overcome the Steelers.

Winner: Commanders

New England Patriots @ Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams
Caleb Williams is looking to bounce back after a disheartening week nine loss.

Drake Maye has ignited excitement in New England. While the third-overall pick still has much growing to do, he’s showing a ton of potential. The issue for the Pats is the team around Maye. They lost to the Titans in OT despite Maye keeping them afloat down the stretch. It’s a long road back for the Patriots, but they finally have their guy to work with.

The Bears are in a similar spot with Caleb Williams. Williams is playing well, and growing as a player, but the coaching is killing his production. There are concerns about Matt Eberflus’s job security, but the Bears still have a lot of strong pieces. Chicago is the better team overall, and they should be able to win this battle of the rookies.

Winner: Bears

Buffalo Bills @ Indianapolis Colts

Josh Allen
Josh Allen and the Bills are heating up down the stretch.

The Buffalo Bills almost slipped last week against the Dolphins. They started slow with only six points at halftime, but luckily Josh Allen picked things up with three touchdowns in the second half. A 61-yard walk-off field goal from Tyler Bass sealed the win for Buffalo. The Colts, on the other hand, look worse than ever. They benched Anthony Richardson, and Joe Flacco did no better against the Vikings in primetime. Things are broken in Indy right now, and the Bills are one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

Winner: Bills

Minnesota Vikings @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Sam Darnold
Sam Darnold is still playing at a high level in Minnesota.

The Jaguars nearly took the air out of Lincoln Financial Field against the Eagles in week nine. Three touchdowns in the second half might’ve been enough against most teams, but Philly had Saquon Barkley. Jacksonville looked good, and they’re playing a Vikings team that’s lost a bit of luster. Minnesota played well enough to beat the Colts, but Sam Darnold still threw two interceptions and lost a fumble for an Indy touchdown. The Vikings aren’t bulletproof anymore, but the Jaguars are still not a great team. Minnesota wins this and gets their edge back.

Winner: Vikings

Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes isn't playing to his usual standards, but the Chiefs are finding ways to win.

The Broncos have spent the last few weeks looking strong against tough opponents. Week nine was the exception for them in a 41-10 loss to the Ravens. Denver's defense has been their strong point, and they allowed a perfect passer rating from Lamar Jackson. The Broncos are reeling after a tough loss and the Chiefs are 8-0 coming off a monday night football win.

Patrick Mahomes has a knack for closing out close games, especially in overtime. The Broncos might be able to bounce back, but it won't be enough to take the Chiefs down. Kansas City is still the pick here.

Winner: Chiefs

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints

Kirk Cousins
Kirk Cousins has turned the Falcons into bonafide contenders.

The Saints lost to the Carolina Panthers in week nine. That statement holds a lot of weight in 2024, and it speaks to the struggles that NOLA is facing right now. They're still without Rashid Shaheed, and now they've fired head coach Dennis Allen. The Saints have a long road of improvement ahead of them. The Falcons are a legitimate playoff contender.

Kirk Cousins decimated the Cowboys’ defense last week with 222 yards and three touchdowns. Atlanta’s run game is strong, and the defense is making important stops. A Saints' win isn't impossible, but it sure feels like it is.

Winner: Falcons

San Francisco 49ers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield
Baker Mayfield is trying to keep the Bucs afloat without his top playmakers.

The 49ers are coming off a much needed bye week. There's a chance they get Christian McCaffrey back, and he'll certainly have a chip on his shoulder. The Niners are currently 4-4, and they're in desperate need of a turnaround. The Buccaneers forced overtime against the Chiefs on Monday night, but never got the ball back. Tampa Bay is playing better than expected without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. If CMC can take the field on Sunday, the Niners will have an advantage, but the Bucs are the more efficient team right now.

Winner: Buccaneers

Tennessee Titans @ Los Angeles Chargers

Chargers
The Chargers' offense is finding it's spark heading into week 10.

The Titans won their first game since September, and it came in OT against a rebuilding Patriots team. It’s nothing to shrug at, but they’re still chock-full of problems. The Chargers found their groove again in a 27-10 win over the Browns. Justin Herbert threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns, while J.K. Dobbins tacked on two scores on the ground. The Bolts are looking strong again, and their defense intercepted Jameis Winston three times. This should be a good game for them to pull back into the race.

Winner: Chargers

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys

Saquon Barkley
Saquon Barkley has been superhuman since joining the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys are officially without Dak Prescott for the next few weeks. It’s Cooper Rush time in Dallas and the Cowboys offense is already struggling. The Eagles aren’t playing as well as they should be, but they’re winning games, and that's all that matters. Saquon Barkley is a monster right now, and this division matchup is a great time for him to show out again. Philly beats a down-on-their-luck Cowboys in week 10.

Winner: Eagles

New York Jets @ Arizona Cardinals

Trey McBride
Trey McBride has played a critical role in the Cardinals' offense.

The Cardinals and Jets are both coming off impressive wins in week 10. New York pulled off a win over the Texans on Thursday night, and Aaron Rodgers looked like himself again. This doesn’t mean the Jets are back, but they’re finding their way. The Cardinals beat the Bears in a 29-9 victory, completely stifling Caleb Williams. Kyler Murray will struggle to keep up with Aaron Rodgers, but his defense will help with that. This is the most 50/50 matchup of the week, but the Cardinals have the firepower necessary to win.

Winner: Cardinals

Detroit Lions @ Houston Texans

Amon-Ra St. Brown
Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Lions are the scariest team in the NFL right now.

The Detroit Lions are officially the team to beat in the NFL. The Lions are currently 7-1 and on a six-game win streak, and they have a scary way of dismantling every team they face. The Texans are facing massive offensive line issues, and struggling to put points on the board without Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs. This could be a close game, but the Lions are arguably the best team in the league. The Lions are facing a weakened opponent and they'll push the pedal through the floor on Sunday night.

Winner: Lions

Miami Dolphins @ Los Angeles Rams

Puka Nacka
Puka Nacua is getting back into his rhythm and the Rams are on a win streak.

The Rams pulled off an overtime win in Seattle last week, despite Puka Nacua being ejected from the game. LA has confidence again and they’re on a three-game win streak going into the home stretch. The Dolphins look much better with Tua Tagovailoa back under center, but they’re still struggling to close out games. This should be an entertaining Monday night matchup between two teams trying to play catchup. The Rams are better in the clutch right now, and when it comes down to it, they figure out how to win.

Winner: Rams
