2025 NHL Draft Eligible Forward Has Massive Week With Erie Otters

While the 2024 NHL Draft is months away, some scouts are already looking ahead to the 2025 NHL Draft with stars such as Sagniaw's Michael Misa, Mississauga's Porter Martone and US National Team's James Hagens. But one highly-touted player had himself a week.

An Impressive Week With The Otters

Currently projected in the middle of the first-round, Erie Otters forward Malcom Spence has been a star ever since he was drafted second-overall in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. He is one of the best playmakers in the Ontario Hockey League especially with his teammate Carey Terrance, who is a second-round drafted pick of the Anaheim Ducks.

With Terrance away with Team USA for the World Juniors, Spence was without his go-to, but it didn't matter for the 17-year-old as he had an impressive performance versus the Niagara IceDogs on December 30th.

He scored two shorthanded goals and added two assists for a four-point night in the 6-3 win. Spence finished with two goals and three assists last week as he looks to continue his impressive December into the new year. If you are a fan of any NHL team, then you should be excited for the chance to draft Spence in 2025, as he can be the next star for your team.
