5 Betting Favorites To Win The 2024 NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year
The 2024 NFL season is less than 50 days away, and the excitement is building, specifically around the rookie players who enter their first year with their new teams. C.J. Stroud won the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award last season, leading the Houston Texans to a 10-7 record and an AFC South title.
Who will be the most outstanding rookie for the 2024-25 NFL season? Here are the five betting favorites to win the award next February.
5) Malik Nabers +1400
Malik Nabers will be the top wide receiver for the New York Giants this season. The former All-American caught 189 passes for 3,003 yards and 21 touchdowns over three seasons with the LSU Tigers. Daniel Jones will need someone to throw the ball to, and Nabers is arguably the most talented player in the WR room. He should see many balls thrown his way and could become an instant star.
4) J.J. McCarthy +1400
Vikings fans hope J.J. McCarthy is the future franchise quarterback, but will he see enough of the field in 2024 to justify an Offensive Rookie of the Year Award? The consensus seems to be that Sam Darnold will be the Week One starter for Minnesota, and if he plays okay, the former first-overall draft pick might keep the job for a while. McCarthy could become a good NFL quarterback; it just won't happen in his rookie campaign.
3) Marvin Harrison Jr. +700
Similar to Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr. will see a lot of action during his rookie season. Arizona's receiving corps is pretty thin behind the 2023 Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year. Harrison Jr. recorded over 1,200 yards and 14 scoring touchdowns in his final two years at Ohio State. If he can continue that success in the NFL, and Kyler Murray can stay healthy, Marvin Harrsion Jr. will be in the Offensive Rookie of the Year discussion.
2) Jayden Daniels +650
For the first time in a while, there's hope in Washington. Jayden Daniels will be the starting quarterback on opening weekend as the Commanders look for their first winning season since 2016. Daniels won the Heisman Trophy, completing 72.2% of his passes for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns, and only four interceptions last year. If all the pieces come together, Daniels should have a decent rookie year and will be in the mix for the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
1) Caleb Williams +140
The first-overall pick has the best odds of winning the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Chicago has done an excellent job putting together a supporting cast around their first-year QB. With D'Andre Swift, DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, and Cole Kmet, Caleb Willaims has no shortage of star players to distribute the ball. He'll play every game for Chicago this season and has all the talent needed to become one of the league's next shining stars.
