Aaron Rodgers Makes Big Donation To Hometown

Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. After throwing for 59,055 yards, 475 touchdowns to only 105 interceptions, as well as winning Super Bowl XLV, the 40-year-old has impressive numbers in his football career. He's only going to continue adding on to his resume when the 2024 NFL season kicks off this September.

Rodgers has been improving his off-field numbers as well as the Jets quarterback has been donating a lot of money in recent years to causes he cares about. Rodgers hasn’t been shy about caring for his hometown Chico, California in Butte County. He previously donated one-million dollars to small businesses in 2021.

After raising over three-million dollars for charity in a flag football tournament back in May, Rodgers is once again getting out the check book to donate. He has donated $100,000 to help citizens of Butte County evacuate due to the recent wildfires affecting California.

Rodgers Gives Big Donation In Support Of Wildfire Evacuation

The “Thompson Fire” has injured four people and evacuated over 29,000 people as of July 4th after it sparked due to a heat wave. Starting on July 2nd, the fire quickly spread, leading California Governor Gavin Newsom to declare a State of Emergency for the county. This comes after many wildfires have hit the state within the past few years, with many citizens trying to create new safety measures to prevent more fires from starting.

I will be praying for all the victims of this horrible wildfire and just want to say thank you to Aaron Rodgers for donating and helping out! If you want to donate to help fight the wildfires, you can do so here: https://norcalunitedway.networkforgood.com/projects/221293-north-state-united
