Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban Just Made A Shocking Decision

After being defeated by Michigan in the 2024 Rose Bowl last week, many rumors surrounded the next step for the long-time head coach of the Crimson Tide. It has officially been announced that Alabama head coach Nick Saban will retire from coaching football.

Saban has coached at Alabama for the last 17 years and has delivered six national championships to Tuscaloosa, which ties Paul "Bear" Bryant for the most in school history.

Saban's Alabama Resume

Saban's coaching resume speaks for itself, as he's the winningest coach in college football history, and has seven total championships. When asked about retirement, Saban continued to deny the thought, saying each time he wouldn't know what else to do with his time.

What's next for the Alabama football program is still to be decided, but it would be a highly coveted job across the college football universe. Saban's shoes will be tough to fill.
