Alabama Loses Top Player To The Transfer Portal
Nick Saban announced his retirement on Wednesday, and it was a given that Alabama players would start to put their names in the transfer portal. Star wide receiver Isaiah Bond entered the portal on Friday.
Bond had 48 receptions for 668 yards and four touchdowns in his sophomore season in 2023.
Bond is an Alabama legend after catching the game-winning touchdown pass on 4th and 31 to beat Auburn during the last regular season game of the year in 2023.
Bond was a big part of an offense that beat Georgia and made the College Football Playoff.
He will be missed at Alabama, and I hope he has a great career wherever he ends up.
