America's Favorite Golfer Is Teaming Up With President Donald Trump To Raise Money For The Wounded Warrior Project In A Great Way
The United States has been crazy for the last few weeks, and some of that has to do with Donald Trump, the 45th president.
On July 13th, Trump was at his rally in Pennsylvania and was shot in the ear in an assassination attempt. Thankfully, Trump was okay and could speak at the Republican National Convention last week.
When Trump is not running for president, he likes to play golf and is very good at it. During the presidential debate between Trump and current president Joe Biden, who dropped out of the presidential race on Sunday, they brought up golf and their handicaps, which was a funny moment in such a heated debate.
Trump challenged Biden to a golf match, and of course, he declined, so America's favorite golfer, Bryson DeChambeau, who had just won the U.S Open in June, put it upon himself to host a golf event, and asked both parties Trump and Biden to join him for a charity golf event on his Youtube page.
DeChambeau has a series in which he teams up with another person and tries to shoot under 50 together. This week's guest will be Donald Trump.
DeChambeau stated, "Break 50 with @realDonaldTrumpdropping tomorrow on my YouTube channel! On this special episode, we will be donating $10,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project for every stroke we score under par. Stay tuned"
He also stated, "To be clear, this is about golf and giving back to our nation's veterans, not politics. A few weeks ago I reached out to both parties' presidential campaigns and @realDonaldTrump was down for the challenge. It is an incredible honor to be able to enjoy a round of golf with any sitting or former president, and all have an open invitation to join me for a round of Break 50 anytime.
It's fantastic to see Trump and DeChamebeau team up and raise money for a great foundation, and this could be one of the most-watched YouTube videos ever.
