Auburn Drops Another Road Game To The Gators
Auburn's struggle to win on the road continues as they lost another away game against the Florida Gators. Throughout the game, Auburn never managed to take the lead as the Gators dominated from the beginning till the end.
In their previous game, Johni Broome and Jaylin Williams scored a total of 50 points against Alabama. However, in their latest game, they only scored 20 points together. Not only did Auburn's frontcourt struggle but their backcourt was also stifled, shooting a combined 9 for 23 from the field.
Additionally, Auburn had 18 turnovers, which was the same number of turnovers they had in their worst game of the season. This resulted in the Gators having an easier time scoring. Free throw shooting was also an issue for the Tigers only making 14 of their 26 shots.
Despite the loss in their latest game, Auburn still has a chance to win the SEC regular season championship as they are only one game behind the leading teams Alabama and South Carolina.
The next game for the Tigers is against the Gamecocks. Luckily, it will be held in Neville Arena, where the Tigers have a perfect record of 12-0 at home this year and have won 15 straight.
Auburn vs South Carolina will air on SEC Network at 7:30 PM.
