Bet On These NFL Teams To Win Week 3

We're a couple of weeks into the NFL season, and the league is crazier than ever. Passing yards are down, rushing yards are up, and there were many upsets last week. The NFL is unpredictable this week with so many 50/50 picks. Here are the teams you should bet to win Week 3.

Season Record: 22-10

LOCK OF THE WEEK:

Lock of the week

Denver Broncos at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7), 1 p.m. ET (FOX)

The Buccaneers have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL to start the season. After wins over Washington and Detroit, Tampa Bay will host the Denver Broncos, who have struggled on offense lately. This will be the second time this season that the Bucs will play a rookie quarterback.

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has yet to throw a touchdown pass while the team’s running game has struggled. Even if Denver holds Tampa Bay under 24 points, that might not be enough for a win. Baker Mayfield and company should take care of business at home.

Score Prediction: Buccaneers 27, Broncos 13

UPSET OF THE WEEK:

Upset of the week

Los Angeles Chargers (+2.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 p.m. ET (CBS)

The Chargers and Steelers will be of the week's top games. Both teams enter this matchup undefeated for Pittsburgh’s home opener. While the Steelers defense has been stellar in both their wins, LA’s rushing attack has been very efficient in keeping them undefeated.

While Justin Herbert has an ankle injury, he is expected to play. With this projected to be a low-scoring game and Herbert’s perfect record when his defense allows 20 points or less, it should be a close Chargers victory.

Score Prediction (with Herbert): Chargers 19, Steelers 16

Score Prediction (without Herbert): Steelers 16, Chargers 6

SUNDAY SLATE:

Sunday slate

New York Giants at Cleveland Browns (-7), 1 p.m. ET (FOX)

The Browns escaped Week 2 with a close victory against the Jaguars. While it wasn’t pretty, the defense played well and the offense did enough to win. Now Cleveland hosts a Giants team that scored three touchdowns last week but still fell short. This should be an easy win for the Browns but they will keep this close.

Score Prediction: Browns 20, Giants 12

Houston Texans (-3) at Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. ET (CBS)

This is a matchup between two 2-0 teams to start the season. Minnesota has been the surprise of the season after defeating a tough 49ers team at home. Meanwhile Houston took care of Indianapolis and Chicago in close and ugly wins.

It will be a tough matchup playing in Minnesota, but CJ Stroud’s offense should have a better outing after being held to 19 points last week. It remains to be seen if Sam Darnold will keep up his impressive start to the season.

Score Prediction: Texans 28, Vikings 23

PRIMETIME PICK:

Primetime Picks

Washington Commanders at Cincinnati Bengals (-7.5), 8:15 p.m. ET (ABC)

The Bengals will be fighting to avoid a 0-3 start to the season with a matchup against the Commanders. Washington looked solid last week in the victory against the Giants, but they won without scoring a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati should be 1-1, but a walk-off field goal kept them winless in Kansas City. Expect the Bengals to be motivated to finally get back into the win column and move to a 1-2 record.

Score Prediction: Bengals 23, Commandeers 20

THE REST OF THE SCHEDULE:

Rest of the Schedule
