Bet This Team To Win NFL Week 6
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a bye week, which gave them time to recoup from their 33-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. Sitting at 2-2, Philadelphia will host the struggling Cleveland Browns, who are 1-4 and have lost three straight. Here is why you should bet on the Philadelphia Eagles to defeat the Cleveland Browns this Sunday!
How The Offense Stacks Up
Eagles Passing: 27th
Eagles Rushing: 10th
Eagles Scoring (TD): 20th
The Eagles rushing offense has done pretty well this season even without center Jason Kelce (retirement) and Lane Thomas (injury). Meanwhile, the offense hasn’t been as dynamic as last year, but that is due to AJ Brown and Devonta Smith’s injuries. The Browns have had one of the worst offenses in the NFL this season which should allow the Eagles' defense to hold Cleveland under 13 points.
Browns Passing; 28th
Browns Rushing: 26th
Browns Scoring (TD): 29th
How The Defense Stacks Up
Eagles Passing Defense: 9th
Eagles Rushing Defense: 8th
Cleveland’s defense has been underrated this season despite not being as stellar as last season. But their rushing defense allowed 215 yards against the Commanders last week. Saquon Barkley should have a great game on the ground.
Browns Passing Defense: 10th
Browns Rushing Defense: 24th
Healing Up
Arguably the biggest reason Philly lost to Tampa Bay was due to injuries. Fortunately for the Eagles, their roster is fully healthy entering Week 6. This means that wide receivers AJ Brown and Devonta Smith will suit up for the first time since Week 1 and Week 3 retrospectively. Star tackle Lane Johnson will also be back as well.
Meanwhile, for the Browns, they will be without two safeties Grant Delpit and Ronnie Hickman, while superstar cornerback Denzel Ward is questionable. With linebacker Jordan Hicks and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst also on the injured list, Philadelphia will face a banged-up Browns secondary.
The Philadelphia Eagles host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, October 13th at 1:00 PM on FOX.
