Big Time Ohio State Player Says He Will Return In 2024
Ohio State defensive end Jack Sawyer had decided to return for another year of school instead of putting his name in the NFL Draft.
Sawyer was the number one overall recruit in the ESPN 300 class of 2021 and has yet to live up to that hype.
He has shown signs that he can be a first-round pick one day and put his name with other Ohio State defensive end greats like Chase Young, Joey, and Nick Bosa, but he needed another year of college football and made a great decision to come back.
As we look forward to 2024, Sawyer is set to emerge as a critical leader in the defense. His development in this role is something to watch with anticipation.
The Buckeyes already have a handful of defensive players returning, like Lathan Ransom and Tyleik Williams, so adding Sawyer is a cherry on top.
