Boogeyman’s Blog: College Football’s Interesting Week Two

Ahem… Boogeyman is back. Week Two of college football is upon us, which means one thing… More bets. I must admit, last week was a bit shaky. However, if you followed me on social media you quickly realized we made up for that all time collapse. But, don‘t fear the Boogeyman is here. Lets get into it.

Colorado -3 VS Nebraska

If you read this blog last week, we had Colorado +21 against the horned frauds. Primetime and the Buffaloes did not disappoint.

This line is very odd to me, Nebraska is coming off a three-point loss to the Minnesota Gophers. Newsflash: Minnesota is not in the same breath as Colorado. I feel Vegas is taking too long on catching up with this Colorado team. Buffs -3.

Kansas State -16.5 VS Troy

Love, love, love, Kansas State at this position here. While I think Troy is an actual formidable opponent, Kansas State has some dudes. I believe Kansas State is a bit under the radar here, after week one in college football, I can see Kansas State can compete with Texas for the Big 12 title.

Texas +7 VS Alabama

I hate to say that a week two college football game is a make-or-breaker, but this has it written all over it. If both of these teams end up 11-1, that head-to-head edge could be difference in getting in the playoffs.

Alabama potentially having three starters out scares me a bit, I initially had Alabama covering upon hearing that news. Quinn Ewers dogged this defense last year before he got hurt in this very game a year ago, if he’s healthy there could have been a different outcome last year. Give me HOOK ‘EM +7.

Notre Dame -7 VS NC State

Something is in the air over there in South Bend. Notre Dame is an absolute wagon this year, a very good defense along with a potential Heisman Trophy finalist in Sam Hartman, who is lighting it up.

I am nervous with it being at NC State, but this team seems on another level. I’m gonna trust it, give me the seven.

Iowa O20.5 points VS Iowa State

A little in-state rivalry for our week two of college football never hurt anybody. Because this is a rivalry, I felt I had to put some money down on this game. I’m not completely confident in Iowa getting this job done however, I am confident that a Cade McNamara offense can score 21 points on this Iowa State team, a week after allowing Northern Iowa to score nine points on them in week one.

Texas A&M -4 VS Miami

There is just no way that the SEC could absolutely burn me for two weeks in a row right? This Miami offense is potent, but I have absolute faith in this Texas A&M coaching staff to get the job done.

I hate giving the four points to a home dog but something has got to give, there’s no way the SEC should exit week two of the college football season 0-3 to the ACC. Unacceptable.

College Football Wrap up

This college football slate is absolutely ELECTRIC. I believe this is the week we find out a lot about some top teams in the college football landscape. Nonetheless, I hope we find out all the while winning some money in the meantime. That‘s going to do it for Boogeyman’s week two blog!

Be on the lookout for Boogeyman’s NFL blog as well so we can dominate the whole weekend with our bets. Lets bankrupt Vegas.
