Breaking: 2023 Indianapolis Colts Stud Draft Pick Gets Injured In OTA's And Will Miss The Entire Season Once Again
The Indianapolis Colts had a fantastic season last year under rookie head coach Shane Steichen after rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson, who was showing signs of being a franchise guy, was lost for the season with an injury after only appearing in four games.
Richardson was the Colt's first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and is scheduled to be ready for the 2024 season. Unfortunately, another former 2023 draft pick will not be able to appear this season.
Daniel Scott Will Miss The 2024 Season
Safety Daniel Scott was the 158th pick of the fifth round of California last season and didn't play a single snap for the team after tearing his ACL during last year's OTAs. Sadly, it got worse this time around for the young player.
Head coach Shane Steichen announced Tuesday that Scott tore his Achilles last week during OTA's and will miss the 2024 campaign.
Scott has gone two years without playing a single NFL snap, which is terrible for any young player because they have lost time to adapt to the league. In year three, he will be playing for his job right away, coming off of two horrible injuries.
