Bronny James Assigned To NBA G League

Bronny James has been assigned to the Los Angeles Lakers NBA G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. Bronny was the 55th overall pick in this year's NBA Draft. Lebron and Bronny became the first father-son duo to play alongside each other in the league.

When Will Bronny Make His G League Debut?

Bronny will reportedly make his NBA G League debut on Saturday when the South Bay Lakers host the Salt Lake City Stars. The Lakers follow that game with a meeting against the Santa Cruz Warriors. The 20-year-old averaged only 3.3 minutes per game and had a .167 field-goal percentage through the first four games of his NBA career.

Next Up For Los Angeles

The Lakers are 10th in the Western Conference with a 4-4 record. They've lost their last two games against the Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies. Los Angeles plays on Friday night when they host the Philadelphia 76ers at Crypto.com arena. The Lakers and 76ers split last year's season series, with the home team winning each time.

Following the Sixers game, Los Angeles welcomes the Toronto Raptors. The Lakers have won the last four games against the Raps, including a 131-125 victory on November 1st. Anthony Davis led L.A. that night with 38 points, while Lebron scored 27.
