Caleb Williams Doesn't Want To Play For The Bears?
It's time for the silly season, and everything that is NFL Draft-related for the next three months is going to make people very happy or sad, depending on what people have to say about their favorite team; we have an example one of the offseason draft talk that is going to make a bunch of Chicago Bears fans mad.
During Colin Cowherd's Fox Sports radio show on Thursday afternoon, Cowherd stated that "Caleb and his group want to avoid going to Chicago and could see Washington trading up to number one and the Bears letting them take Williams. "
Williams is from the D.C. area, and it would make perfect sense for him to want to go home. Still, Cowherd took back his comments about Williams not wanting to play for the Bears on Friday and stated that he got a call from the Williams camp and said, "They don't want to be painted as anti-Chiacgo or anti-Bears. They believe Chicago is an organization that can succeed. "
I wouldn't worry too much if I was a Bears fan about Williams not wanting to play in Chicago. Everyone who says he doesn't want to play there is speculating, and Williams will be in a Bears uniform this September.
