The Windy City has needed a Quarterback for a while now. Once hated Jay Cutler, looks like a Hall of Famer compared to some of the play the Chicago Bears have experienced in recent years. The Bears have had a revolving door of Quarterbacks for the last decade, after disappointing starters such as Mitch Trubisky, Justin Fields, Andy Dalton, Mike Glennon, and many more. The Bears seem to have finally found a guy to not only lead them on the field, but off the field as well.

In a recent interview, 2-time all-pro safety Kevin Byard talks about how Caleb has begun to ask his teammates to be accountable for everything in the facility and to clean up after themselves. He referenced a time that Hall of Fame Saftey Ed Reed had talked about how it takes the little things to be great and, if you can't simply put a towel away or throw your trash out, how do you expect to win a Super Bowl.

This is great news for the Bears, as they have in the past had guys who had all the talent to play the position but could not be the leader the team needed to take them to the next level. Going into his career, Caleb was considered a "diva" by many and has so far proven many wrongs by having little to no issues settling in Chicago.

He seems to be connecting with his teammates well, especially fellow rookie Rome Odunze who has been all over twitter connecting with Caleb for big plays in practice. Of course, some news is not positive, such as turnovers and bad practices, but that is to be expected since the Bears have a top-10 defense and Caleb is just getting a handle on things.

Every day, more news breaks about Caleb interacting positively with fans, about how he gave NIL deals offered to him to his O-Line in college, and now being a vocal leader as a rookie. The Bears were looking for a guy to take the reigns of the franchise and refuse to give them back. Ladies and Gentlemen, they may have found that guy.
