Chargers Officially Hire Their Next Head Coach

After firing Brandon Staley after three disappointing years, the Los Angeles Chargers have found their next head coach in Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh. The former head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, Harbaugh just won the National Championship with Michigan after serving as head coach since 2015. Now he returns to the NFL for the first time in ten years after his last stint resulted in a Super Bowl appearance but parting ways after the 2014 season.

Harbaugh Brings Lots Of Experience To Exciting Chargers Team

The Chargers are getting a successful head coach that has plenty of experience. Unlike Staley, who was a first-time head coach, Harbaugh has been coaching since 2004. His brother John is one of the best head coaches in the league as his Ravens had the best record in the league this year. Jim and owner Dean Spanos hope the Chargers can one day say the same.

Harbaugh had a winning record with the 49ers each year as head coach and looks to take a franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert and retool the roster and look to win the team's first ever Super Bowl title in his tenure. Do you think the Chargers made a good decision hiring Harbaugh? Will he find the success in LA like he did in San Francisco and Michigan? Only time will tell.
