Chicago Wants Moore Of This: Keys To Bears Snapping 14 Game Losing Streak.

FEDEX FIELD, DC - For the first time in almost a year the Chicago Bears have won a game. The Bears were on a 14-game losing streak and haven't won a game since October 24th, 2022 against the New England Patriots.

Bears Offense

What a performance from the duo of Justin Fields and D.J. Moore. These two were almost perfect this entire game. Moore had eight receptions for 230 yards and three touchdowns. Fields threw for 282 yards, four touchdowns, and 57 yards on the ground.

Even LeBron had praise for the young duo.

The Bear's run game was rolling as well. The Bears had 178 yards on the ground and averaged 5.6 yards per carry. This was also without Chicago's starting center - Lucas Patrick, two running backs - Roshcon Johnson (concussion in the second quarter) and Khalil Herbert (ankle injury) in the second.

Bears Defense

The Bears' defense channeled their inner Dick Butkus during this game. The Bear's defense looked like what expected they'd be with a former defensive coordinator as head coach.

They sacked quarterback Sam Howell five times, picked him off, and forced Logan Thomas to fumble.

The Bears' run defense brought their best vs the Commanders. Minus 12 rushing allowed before contact, 29 rushing yards allowed, and 1 first down allowed rushing.

A huge part of that success was the play of rookie defensive tackle Gervon Dexton Sr. and veteran linebacker T.J. Edwards. Who were two of the highest-rated Bears with grades of 85.5 and 75.8.

What's Next For Chicago?

Getting healthy needs to be the goal for this team. Tremaine Edmunds exited late in the game and had to receive treatment from the medical staff. Lucas Patrick, and Roschon Johnson both exited the game with concussion protocol. Equanimous St. Brown and Travis Homer both left this game with hamstring injuries.

They have nine days from now to recover until they play the Vikings in week six in Soldier Field. Seeing Minnesota's recent struggles seems like this game is more winnable than we thought a week ago. Especially if Fields and Moore keep their connection going strong.
