Colby Parkinson's Fantasy Outlook For 2024
In the 2024 offseason, Colby Parkinson signed a 3-year deal with the Rams. Long-term Rams starter Tyler Higbee is likely to miss a majority of the season due to a torn ACL and has even seen a decline in performance in the last two seasons. As of now Parkinson is the leading candidate to be the Rams starting Tight End.
He has never put up any crazy numbers, but that could easily be blamed on lack of playing time and Seattle not consistently using their Tight Ends in the passing game. The Rams may just be one of the best locations to go to as a tight end who needs to prove themselves, as head coach Sean McVay and QB Matthew Stafford have tended to use their TEs on a consistent basis.
Although WRs Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp will see a majority of the targets, Parkinson is in a position to have the best season of his career so far. He could be a solid backup tight end on your roster this season, and if he can prove himself, he will also develop some long-term value.
