D'onta Foreman Could Be A Waiver Add For Fantasy In 2024

D'onta Foreman is interesting because he is always productive wherever he goes, yet he seems to be on a new team every season. Last season, Foreman had two usable weeks in fantasy: he was the RB1 overall in Week 7, where he scored three touchdowns, and then he was RB14 in Week 10. The rest of the time, he was either hurt or unplayable.
Foreman is now a member of the Browns and could actually carve out a role. Nick Chubb is coming off a severe injury, and Jerome Ford was solid last year but certainly replaceable.
Chubb will be back this season, but it’s hard to imagine he’s back to his normal self on the field after the injury, which means there is work up for grabs. Ford was the team's starter last season but split time with Kareem Hunt. Hunt is no longer there, and Foreman has a real chance to steal Ford’s role as the primary backup behind Chubb.
Foreman isn’t worth a selection unless it’s late in the draft in a deeper league, as he will most likely be depth behind Ford and Chubb. Still, if one of them misses time, he has shown the ability to be a productive back and would be a priority add on waivers.
Our consensus projections for Forman in the 2024 season are 66 carries for 235 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. As well as 3 receptions, 17 yards, and 0 touchdowns.
