EA Sports Names Top Ten Ranked Receivers In Madden 24
EA Sports has released the top ten ratings among wide receivers for the upcoming Madden 24 video game.
Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams led the way last year with a 99 overall rating.
Here's a look at the ten highest-rated receivers this season and when you can expect to play the latest edition of Madden.
Jefferson Leads The Way
Justin Jefferson is widely considered the best wide receiver in the NFL, and this year's Madden rating reflects how great of a player he is.
The 24-year-old has a 99 rating, the only player at the position with the highest possible ranking.
Jefferson shared his excitement about his rating in a Tweet, saying he's been creating his own 99-rated character since he was seven.
The former LSU star has 4,825 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns through the first three years of his NFL career.
Players Two Through Five
Four-time All-Pro Tyreek Hill is the second-highest overall rated wide receiver with a 98. However, he has the best deep route running rating (98).
Davante Adams is third on the list with a 97 overall. Adams averaged 15.2 yards per reception and led the league with 14 receiving touchdowns in his first season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Stefon Diggs has a 96 overall rating as he enters his fourth season with the Buffalo Bills. Diggs has made three straight Pro Bowls and was on the All-Pro team in 2020.
Super Bowl LVI MVP Cooper Kupp rounds out the top five. He is also 96 overall. Kupp was the second-highest-rated player in last year's Madden game (98), coming off the best year of his career.
Players Six Through Ten
Ja'Marr Chase is sixth among wide receivers with a 94 overall. The two-time Pro Bowler has averaged 86.2 yards per game over his first two NFL seasons.
The newest Tennessee Titan, DeAndre Hopkins, received a 93 overall. Hopkins has 11,298 receiving yards and 71 touchdowns in ten NFL seasons. The 31-year-old recently signed a two-year $26 million deal with Tennessee.
Terry McLaurin has a 92 overall. The Indiana native has had three seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards. He recorded the highest scrimmage yards of his career last season with 1,220.
A.J. Brown finds himself inside the top ten after missing the cut early last year. The Philadelphia Eagle gets a 91 overall. Brown picked up career-highs in yards and targets in 2022.
Finally, Amari Cooper of the Cleveland Browns comes in at tenth with an overall rating of 91. Cooper had another solid season in 2022. He made 78 catches for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns.

Madden ratings are always a hot topic leading into NFL training camps. This year was no different. The original EA Sports tweet announcing the top ten WRs has more than 300,000 views on Twitter.
The announcement of Jefferson's 99 rating on the NFL Twitter account has an impressive 1.5 million views.
EA plans to release more ratings through what they are calling Madden Week, which will likely end with the quarterbacks.
Madden 24 is expected to release on August 15th.
