Former Duke Legends' Sons Make Monumental Commitment To The Program, Carrying On Their Fathers' Legacy

Duke is one of the best programs in college basketball, and a few years ago, the Blue Devils saw Mike Krzyzewski, one of the winningest coaches in college basketball, retire.

Many wondered how his replacement, Jon Scheyer, would do with landing top talent. He has done an excellent job because he landed Cooper Flagg, the top player in the 2024 class, and now two of the best players in 2025.

On Friday, Cameron and Cayden Boozer committed to Duke. According to 247sports.com, Cameron is the second-ranked player in the 2025 class, and Cayden is 21st.

Cameron and Cayden are the sons of former Duke Legend Carlos Boozer, who spent three seasons with the Blue Devils from 1999-2002 and was part of the 2001 national championship-winning team.

Duke has shown no signs of slowing down regarding recruiting, and Scheyer has done a wonderful job landing star after star.

Now that the 37-year-old head coach has shown that he can land the best players in the country, it is time for him to put it all together and win it all.

Coaching at Duke means you have to compete for a title every season, and last year, they made the Elite Eight, and now they have to get over that hump and make the Final Four within the next two seasons.
