Auburn Lands The Top Recruit Out Of Oklahoma
When you know, you know, and Broderick Shull knew. Broderick Shull, from Bixby, Oklahoma, has committed to the Tigers.
Broderick Shull, standing at 6'5" and weighing 275 pounds, is the top recruit from Oklahoma. He is also ranked nationally as the fifth-best offensive tackle and the nineteenth-best recruit.
Shull chose the Tigers over programs such as Texas A&M, Nebraska, and Texas Tech. He is the fifth offensive lineman in Auburn's 2025 class, joining four-star recruits Tavaris Dice and Carde Smith and three-star recruits Spencer Dowland and Tai Buster.
Shull's primary recruiter, offensive line coach Jake Thornton, mentioned that Shull was one of his top targets for this recruiting cycle.
What Shull Brings To Auburn
The Tigers' addition of Shull is a game-changer. With both starting tackles, Percy Lewis and Izavion Miller, likely transitioning to the NFL, this move helps Auburn continue to rebuild the program and stack talent from each recruiting class.
Shull is projected to play as a right tackle. He possesses solid hand-fighting skills and footwork, making the defender's pass rush ineffective. Additionally, he demonstrates strong movement skills in the run game, as he can pull to tackle and effectively block in open space.
Auburn will return to where they want to be by continuing to stack talent in the trenches. With Shull's commitment, Auburn now has 13 commitments and holds the No. 9 class in the country.
