Full Seven-Round 2024 Chicago Bears Mock Draft

The Chicago Bears are in a pretty great situation. Not only do they have a Top-10 pick of their own, but they also own the first overall pick, thanks to the Carolina Panthers, which may go down as one of the most lop-sided trades in NFL History.

The Bears find themselves in pretty rare territory, as they (Currently) have the first overall pick in back-to-back drafts. Every Bears fan I have talked to has had a different perspective on what The Bears should do in the 2024 NFL Draft. Don’t worry, I took a crack at it.

The Chicago Bears Trade First Overall to The New England Patriots For Pick Four, 35, 68, 2025 First-Rounder, & 2025 Second-Rounder

Wow. Let’s get this blockbuster out of the way. I know some Bears fans will want them to stick-n-pick at number one, but this haul was too good to pass up. The Bears get a much-needed 2nd round pick this year and monumental future assets. The Key to building long-sustaining success in the NFL, is good, cheap players.

#4- Malik Nabers (WR) LSU

Outside of D.J. Moore, The Bears receiving room has been a huge letdown this season. Nabers is a fantastic player, the 6’ 200 pounder has significant speed, athleticism, and downfield ability. If the Bears & Ryan Poles decide to continue to build around Justin Fields, they will have to continue to surround him with quality weapons. Nabers can be a game-changer in the Bears offense.

#8- Jer’Zhan Newton (DT) Illinois

I know The Defensive End position needs an upgrade more than the interior, we will get to that shortly. In my opinion, Newton is the BEST Defensive Player in the entire Draft. He is an excellent run defender and disrupts the pocket from the inside. He’s a phenomenal player overall, and good, pass-rushing 3-techs are hard to come by in the NFL. Newton has the chance to be the next Fletcher Cox. I’m willing to put my reputation on that.

#35- Bralen Trice (DE) Washington

I told you we were going to get to the Defensive end position! The 6’4 274 pound Trice is best described as a “Bull in a china shop.” He has posted 15 sacks over the past two seasons at Washington, he also affects the game as a great run defender with a relentless motor. Trice also has freakishly long arms and affects the passing game with batted passes and obstructing the quarterback's view. Trices 4-3 Defensive end frame will pair very nicely With Montez Sweat.

#68- Jackson Powers-Johnson (OC) Oregon

I think the center position is the most upgradable position on the entire roster for the Chicago Bears. Lucas Patrick has been putrid, posting a 51.0 PFF Grade, and has committed the most penalties for the Center position so far this season, with nine. The 2023 All-American is one of the most athletic, technically refined interior offensive linemen in the entire class. JPJ is the type of player that you draft, and leave at the Center position for the next 10 years without having to worry about him.

#72- Calen Bullock (S) USC

Hey, Remember when Eddie Jackson was good at football? Ah, those were the days. Jaquan Brisker has been good for the Bears so far in his career, but Jackson has been a liability for the Bears in 2023. He’s posted a 57.1 PFF Grade and has seen his playing time diminish. Calen Bullock is a 6’3”, rangy safety who has posted some excellent production over the past two seasons, with seven interceptions, and two returned for a touchdown. Bullock would be a massive upgrade over the Washed Jackson.

#105- Kiran Amegadije (OT) Yale

Amedgadije is THAT Ivy League player in this draft class. He is an absolute freak of nature, and watching him play is like a man against boys. Amegadije’s 2023 season was cut short due to injury, but he is going to show out at his Pro Day, and the NFL Combine. He would provide some excellent versatility on the offensive line. The 6’5 318 Pound Ivy Leaguer has Arms that are in the 99TH PERCENTILE for length and boasts some serious athletic ability. While tackle might not be the biggest need for the Bears, you can never have too many offensive linemen.

#125- Michael Pratt (QB) Tulane

In Tulane’s recent resurgence as a legitimate Top 25 team over the past few seasons, Michael Pratt has been nothing short of fantastic. In four years, he's thrown for 9,611 Yards, 90 Touchdowns, to just 26 interceptions. He’s also added 1,147 yards on the ground, with an additional 28 touchdowns. Tyson Bagent is a nice story, but Pratt provides the Bears with a legitimate long-term option that could blossom into something special if Fields continues to be middling in his performances.

#136- Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (CB) Missouri

Rakestraw Jr. is a name that has exploded onto the scene recently in the NFL Draft World. In 2023, playing opposite Kris Abrams-Draine, Rakestraw helped form one of the best CB tandems in the entire nation. Though he only played nine games, he was a constant constricting force for opposing QBs with his tenacious man coverage. Ryan Poles is known to invest heavily in the secondary, If Rakestraw is on the board this late in the draft, expect this pick to be a no-brainer!
