Green Bay To Host 2025 NFL Draft
Updated: Jun 10, 2023
After years of speculation, talks, and rumors, the NFL Draft is finally heading to The Frozen Tundra. The NFL has announced today that the 2025 NFL Draft will be held at iconic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The draft is expected to be held starting the last Thursday in April 2025.
This is a major victory for Green Bay, who has been trying to host the draft for the past few years. They lost the bid to host this year to Kansas City and next year to Detroit. This will be the first NFL draft to take place in a team’s stadium since 2021 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.
This will be the first time ever that the NFL Draft will be hosted in Green Bay, as cheeseheads all around the world can unite to see its newest rookies. There will be many roasts from rival team fans such as the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Lions, as well as many Packers guests to announce the picks.
What The NFL Could Do With Green Bay
Although it will be two years away, Packers fans are probably excited about this news. In Green Bay, near the field, is Titletown, which has many multi-purpose activities such as 40-yard dash, a sledding hill, and a mini football field. The NFL has endless possibilities to use the area for.
Until then, we have the 2023 NFL season to look forward to, which starts Thursday, September 7th when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Detroit Lions. The Packers head to the Windy City to battle the Bears on the following Sunday at 4:25 pm on FOX.
