Jaguars Receiver Impresses In First Practice
It's been over 600 days since wide receiver Calvin Ridley played in an NFL game.
The 28-year-old missed the 2022 season due to a suspension for violating the league's gambling policy.
Ridley was traded to Jacksonville in November and made his first appearance with the Jaguars on Wednesday.

Forming A Connection With His New QB
Local media was quick to update Jaguars fans, posting numerous videos to social media.
One video posted by Jamal St. Cyr of WJXT shows quarterback Trevor Lawrence completing a pass to Ridley.
Another video shot by John Shipley of Jaguar Report again highlights the early connection forming between Ridley and his QB.
Ridley's Career Stats
Since his rookie season in 2018, Calvin Ridley has recorded 3,342 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns in 49 games.
His best statistical season was in 2020 when he was targeted over 140 times by then-Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. Ridley finished that year with 90 catches, 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.
Ridley was ranked the 65th-best player in the NFL's top 100 players entering the 2021 campaign.
The former Alabama star will look to have a strong return with a Jaguars team seemingly on an upwards trajectory.
Jaguars Looking To Build Off A Successful 2022
Jacksonville was one of the biggest surprises last season. The team had their first winning season since 2017.
The Jaguars won a thrilling wild-card round playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers. They lost the following week to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Jacksonville is the heavy favorite to win the AFC South at -160. They also have the 12th-highest odds to win the Lombardi Trophy in February.
