Josh Allen Will Make NFL History In 2024

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is already one of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League. The 28-year-old has two Pro Bowls, over 25,000 passing and rushing yards, 220 combined touchdowns, and five consecutive 10+ winning seasons under his belt since being drafted in 2018.

The star quarterback is set to make NFL history this fall, as he will be the first quarterback in league history to play with a father-son duo.

Josh Allen To Have Played With Both Frank Gore And His Son

Once the season kicks off, Allen will have been teammates with future Hall of Fame running back Frank Gore, who he played with in 2019, and now with his son Frank Gore Jr, as well. Gore Jr was signed by Buffalo after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft last April.

The San Francisco 49ers legendary running back played fifteen years in the NFL, spending nine years in The Bay before finishing his career off with four different squads (including the Bills) between 2015 and 2020.

Meanwhile, his son Frank Jr was surprisingly undrafted after a productive college career at Southern Mississippi, where he rushed for over 4,000 yards, caught for nearly 700 yards, and was responsible for 37 touchdowns with most on the ground and seven in the air.

If you want to read more about why Frank Gore Jr was great in college and why he should’ve been drafted, check out my article from this past spring.  Also, make sure to check out Annalise's amazing piece on the MLB All Star Game Starters as well!
