Keaton Mitchell Has Fantasy Upside When Healthy

Keaton Mitchell unfortunately ended an electric rookie season when he sustained a torn ACL last year. Before that, he gained 396 yards on the ground on only 47 (!) carries. That came out to a crazy 8.4 yards per carry. He also took his 9 catches for 93 yards. This means he averaged almost 9 yards per touch from scrimmage for nearly 500 yards.

He did this while only receiving production in six games. The concern is when and how Mitchell will return from his injury. There is no rush, as the Ravens have Derrick Henry, but there is no doubt about the anticipation of seeing that duo together.

There haven't been any substantial updates regarding his timeline, but folks are hoping he can return for a late-season push. That would be huge for the fantasy playoffs, but fans should temper expectations and watch for updates.

Our consensus projections for Mitchell in the 2024 season are 34 carries for 280 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. As well as 11 receptions, 106 yards, and 1 touchdown.
