Kenneth Gainwell Fantasy Value Is Shot In 2024
People thought Kenny would be a big part of the Eagles' offense after Miles Sanders left. Then, the Eagles signed D’Andre Swift, and Gainwell ended the season with 114 touches for 547 yards (4.8 yards per touch) and 2 touchdowns. This season, the Eagles went even further and signed Saqoun Barkley and drafted Will Shipley.
Gainwell's path to touches decreased even more than it did last season. He isn’t an elite receiver or short-yardage back on a team with a quarterback who heavily utilizes his legs. There just aren’t enough value touches (goalline or receptions) left for him to have on this roster because of the elite players on this offense.
Leave Kenneth Gainwell to the waiver wire. Only injuries occur in redraft leagues. In deeper dynasty leagues, he could be stashed because he is only 25 and could find work elsewhere.
Our consensus projections for Gainwell in the 2024 season are 61 carries for 165 yards and 0 rushing touchdowns. As well as 13 receptions, 85 yards, and 1 touchdown.
