Kevin Stefanski Is Just Trolling At This Point
This season, the Cleveland Browns have been the best story in the NFL, winning games with four starting quarterbacks: Deshaun Watson, P.J. Walker, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and Joe Flacco.
On Sunday afternoon, the Browns will start their fifth quarterback of the season, Jeff Driskel.
The Browns have already locked up the fifth spot in the AFC, so there is no need to play starting quarterback Joe Flacco. They will turn to a guy they just signed to the active roster last week.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski is just having fun at this point. He could start P.J. Walker and let Driskel back him up, but we all know Stefanski wants to be that coach who can win with five different starting quarterbacks in one season.
Stefanski should be NFL head coach of the year, and winning with a fifth different quarterback should just put the icing on the cake.
What a brilliant move by Stefanski; it doesn't matter if you win this game because it does nothing for you in the standings, so why not run out another quarterback, try to win, and add to your legacy that I can win with five starting quarterbacks in one season.
